I got these because I don't like earbuds that go in the ear canal, because I like Skullcandy headphones, and mostly for the fact that I like to listen to music while going to sleep. They sound great, and I have no trouble keeping them in my ears while laying down, even if I move around trying to get comfortable. They still feel good in the ear even if i'm laying on my side. To me, they feel almost as if there is nothing in the ear, which is a sign of extreme comfort. They don't come with those annoying soft earbud covers which are pointless because they always end up getting lost, they are not needed with these anyway. They are some of the best earbud type headphones i've ever used. I also have the Ratio 2XL earbuds and these are so much better in comparison. The Ratios are uncomfortable in the ear and basically fall out at any slight movement. I would not recommend those, sure they cost less but to spend the extra money to get something more comfortable is worth it. For the price, I like these a lot, they have a nice design to them and the volume control on the left earbud cord and the pause/play button is a plus. The pause/play button works even if your Ipod Touch screen is locked. The headphone cord is unnecessarily long, but that's only a minor complaint. I've never tried the mic. I might buy another pair in the future, but in blue! :)

I listen to Audible books at night while in bed. These Fix Earbuds stay in my ears.
I go walking in the morning. These Fix Earbuds stay in my ears.
Some of my daily activities require that I bend over. These Fix Earbuds stay in my ears.
No other earbud I've tried has done so.

Mic and volume buttons do not work for Samsung Galaxy s3. Wish that would have been in the product description...

This is the only earbud that fits my particular aural cavities, and the sleek controls have become a welcome addition to my daily travel. I dread the day when my last pair breaks !

The skull candy bud fix are decent headphones. These headphones feel more durable than the original iPod headphones. Another reason is they are not noise cancellation, which in my opinion, is good because keeps you aware of your surroundings. The sound is very clear and definitely better than the original iPod headphones. Their design is great because when you wear them they do not hurt, unless your ears are uniquely shaped. The bass is ok accounting the fact that this is not in the ear headphones. The microphone I have not listened to it myself, but I have spoken to someone else hearing me while I was using the mic and they could hear me talking in the earpiece. I am assuming that means the microphone is good. The volume buttons, I would say, is the second feature I like the most. They are very easily clickable, unlike the iPod headphones.
My personal opinion is that I switch to this headphones from the JBL 220 because I found the in the ear headphones very uncomfortable. The JBL 220 are good headphones with a powerful bass, but I was looking for an everyday headphone that I could wear everyday. These are definitely the perfect replacement for the iPod Headphones. If I had to say something negative about this headphones, would be the cord is a little longer than the majority of the headphones I have used. I do not know the exact size, but it is clearly larger than most. Overall I would recommend this headphones as a replacement for the crappy headphones you get with your apple product and also very comfortable for an everyday use.

Good, even, sound quality. A bit small for my ears but they mostly stayed in. For the price you can't expect a perfect fit. Build quality is pretty good. After about 1.5yrs of use the speaker separated from the body but a drop of superglue fixed that. The cords and connections are great. I can't tell you how many times I got the cord caught on things and rather than breaking, I got stopped in my tracks. After about 4 years of hard use they did fall apart.

I plan on buying another pair.

My brother and I were on a search for headphones that are not "in ear" (we don't like the feeling of them, and they never stay in). These were the only "flat" pair we could find with a mic and volume control. Definitely worth it.

Got these for my girlfriend for Christmas. She loves them. She said she didn't see much difference between quality (sound quality) of the Apple Pods earbuds. But she said they got better over time. She loves them because of the change volume/change song controls on the earbuds itself.
