Only good for sitting still,
This review is from: Skullcandy SC-INK'D/Pink/2 INK'D Earbuds (Pink) (Electronics)
I bought this pair from a brick and mortar store on the way to school today, and returned them only 4 hours later on my way back.
Earbuds always have the inherent problem of cord jiggle being transmitted into the earbud making slight noise from the movement it causes, however these take it to the extreme, even the slightest tap of the cord creates a noise in them louder than the actual music. Not good at all for anything except sitting still and not moving your head.

This earphones are great. That do a really good job at blocking out outside noises. They would be great for using in a car trip to help block out the road noises (not if you are the driving though of course! :P)
They are comfortable and have three different sizes to help fit your ears specifically. The sound quality is also great. I really recommend these earphones.

Seriously, same as the other one star, if you don't move it's fine, but you can hear your feet pounding on the pavement, you can hear any movement of the wire if you hit it or move it in any way. I haven't tried to see if I can hear my heart beat if I hold it up to my chest but I wouldn't doubt it. Not even worth the money. They look cute though.

I would say these earbuds are average. They sound good, and look cool, but they aren't for anyone looking for extremely high quality sound in earbuds. I got these for a present for my sister, and since I've purchased them, she has stopped using them because they didn't stand the test of time too well.If you want better earbuds than the Apple earbuds, but not something outstanding, these are for you. Otherwise, go with something higher quality - especially if you're crazy about having good audio like I am.

You get what you pay for! EPIC FAIL!,

First off, I must admit that I was surprised at the sound quality of these headphones for the price. They are actually very good and were better than some costing much more. They also were very comfortable and came with several sizes of buds. Now, for the bad. These things are the most fragile of headphones I have ever had. One set I accidentally dropped of a table that was no more than 3 feet off the ground. The bud smashed like an egg. I was able to super-glue it back together, when they just QUIT working. I had two sets with the same issues.
I wanted to love these buds! They do a good job, but I think QC is a problem. Again, expect to get what you pay for.

I have really small ear canals, so I have to use the smallest of the three removable silicone sets that go over the earbuds, but they fit nicely and block most outside sound.

My brother and my boyfriend both requested Skullcandy in-ear headphones for Christmas this year. In need of a new pair myself, I bought an extra pair to keep. I must admit that I'm now a huge fan of these headphones! I couldn't believe the boost in sound quality over my old earbuds - especially in the bass! They are also very comfortable and fit snuggly in both ears. I like that Skullcandy provided three sizes of foam tips because I use a different size for each ear. Some other reviewers have complained about the noise the wire makes. I know what they are talking about, but it has nothing to do with the quality of the wire itself. You can "hear the wire" if you touch it because it is attached to something that is IN YOUR EAR. Also, I personally do not find that the noise is constant or particularly bothersome. Finally, if you're still skeptical, just try them for yourself. You will not easily find a better price anywhere else. They are at least twice as much in stores.

Don't Wrap Them Around Your Music Player!,
This review is from: Skullcandy SC-INK'D/Pink/2 INK'D Earbuds (Pink) (Electronics)
I recently bought the Metallic Green ones and they are really pretty. I always wrap them around my iPod and I didn't know that it would affect the performance. So one day I couldn't hear anything at all. Strongly suggest you not wrap them around your iPod or Mp3. So since they worked fine before I'm going for a round 2, in Pink!

These are fantastic earbuds. I have smaller ears and have trouble finding buds that will fit, but these are perfect. Yes, you can hear slight cord movements if you're active, but that's the case with most earbuds of this style. Not a big problem for me, though. The sound output is impressive and greatly suprised me... I ordered another pair for my husband.

I had read so many positives on these little buds...sorry, I don't like them. They sound tinny and in my opinion the sound is very distorted.
On the positive side...they are way more comfortable than the buds that come with a new ipod. They do block out noise nicely. On the negative side...very bad sound quality. I listen to all kinds of music and I'm just not too impressed. But hey, they're pretty! |
