These lightweight, behind-the-neck style stereo headphones actually double as a handsfree accessory for your phone, allowing you to switch between your music and your calls at the touch of a button.

The Link Backphones come with one plug for the handsfree port of your mobile phone and a standard 3.5mm miniplug for a music player. When a call comes in while you're listening to your music player, you can either mute the music entirely or reduce it with the in-line volume control. A super-sensitive mic picks up your side of the conversation. The caller on the other end will not be able to hear the music you're playing.

The system supports mobile phone models with voice-dialing features, so you can make calls with the simple touch of the Link Backphones console button. The button can also be used to access specific features of your phone, such as connect, disconnect, last-call redial, voice dialing, mute, etc.

Most phones are designed or can be programmed to ring into a headset automatically when a call comes in. Otherwise, you'll be able to feel an incoming call by setting your phone to vibrate mode and keeping it in your pocket or on your belt.

The Link Backphones are joined by a gray molded plastic band that fits around the back of your head. Many find this type of headphones to be more comfortable than the traditional over-the-head style. Wide foam heads distribute the pressure around your ear for a more comfortable fit.

I was looking for a good set of headphones that fit the way that these do and use the 2.5mm jack for my pocket pc. The volume of sound was so low at even the highest setting that I had to return them. It is possible that these can only work well with a Nokia phone. I do not own a Nokia phone to have testged that. I don't care much for the skull picture on the side either - a little morbid.
