Overall I would say that I'm very pleased with these headphones. They wrap firmly around your ears and effectively block 90% of environmental sound. I still think that Beatz by Dr. Dre is the more superior headphone, the reason I chose Skull Candy was that I've already had the chance to compare the sound quality prior to purchasing and found out that it was very closely matched to the more expensive Beatz at a fraction of the cost. I didn't feel like shelling out $300 on Beatz cause I'm not a DJ or anything like that, I'm just an average listener who feels that you shouldn't have to pay out a fortune for a pair of decent sounding headphones, and Skull Candy has exactly the sound quality deep rich bass and sharp treble that I can really hear. I would absolutely recommend the Skull Candy line of head phones to anyone who doesn't want to pay a fortune without sacrificing any of the sound quality that can be found in more premium Beatz head phones.
