Dry Bones,
By MoonDiva (Tennessee, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Skulls and Skeletons: Human Bone Collections and Accumulations (Paperback)
The title of this review implies exactly what you will find in Christine Quigley's latest endeavor, "Skulls and Skeletons: Human Bone Collections and Accumulations." If the length and monotany of the book's title wasn't warning enough, I found it hard to stifle the yawns after the first couple of chapters. Granted Ms. Quigley has spent the last twenty-five years exploring and documenting her subject. She earns two stars for her impressive knowledge alone even if it is creepy. Unfortunately her knowledge and love for all things morbid does nothing to help the fact it reads drier than yesterday morning's toast. If you are a medical student, mortician or hopeful CSI Agent this might be for you, if not, pass the butter and move on.
