Great artistry and musical intelligence. Kondonassis' performance of the Faure Impromptu is the most beautiful I have ever heard.

Beautiful Music, February 4, 2003

This is beautiful music to just listen too. Reminds me of sitting by waterfalls and listening to droplets splash. Beautiful pieces played equally beautifully. Own this CD to have at least one of this genre. On those days you need to unwind, this will really help.
This music can be very demanding on stereo equipment. In fact, this is one of those that can make my high-end system clip on many of the notes (high-order harmonics, etc.), even with 200/400/700 watts into 8/4/2 ohms. Okay, enough techno-babble before we get too deep, just know that this is a very good test CD for auditioning high-end equipment.
