Sky Ski Pro SS The Original Sky Ski model when we started in 1998, the Pro Model has remained the most commonly sought after hydrofoil for people starting out in the sport of Hydrofoiling! The Pro Model is versatile enough to learn how to fly, or learn your first flip on. The Rock Tower The Pro comes equipped with the reliable "Rock Tower". This tower is constructed with aircraft quality 6061 plate aluminum & features a durable, bright red powder-coated finish; 2" thick seatpad with Traxx surface to keep you stuck to the seat; the Sky Ski double locking belt; and ratcheting handles for a sure-grip when tightening the foil in. The Board The board is made with a high density closed-cell foam core and premium fiberglass materials, then compression molded for optimum strength, durability & performance. The Foil The 6061 Billet aluminum foil is made with strength, durability, performance and ease of use all in mind. Constructed out of aircraft quality billet aluminum, it is equipped with the traditionally stable "flat front" & "flat rear" wings, ("flat" refers to the trailing edge of the wing being either "flat"(straight), or "bat"(curved)) . The T-bar starts out as 2 pieces and is joined together via a "mortise & tenon" type joint, and then bolted together. The effective surface area on the strut is 29.5" making it easy to learn on and advance on as well. The solid, affordably designed Sky Ski Pro is the best buy for the beginner who plans on Hydrofoiling for years to come!

What a blast!,

Last summer i started riding the Sky Ski Pro "Hydrofoil Waterski" (AKA an Air Chair I've wake boarded, slalom skied, wake surfed,etc. The hydrofoil is a whole different cat. It's not strength or power that's required to ride it. It's all about the balance and finesse. The first thing i noticed once i could get up on it was how quite and smooth the ride was. You literally can hear conversations in the boat. I liken it to flying. It's so smooth. Just when you think you've got it figured out it turns into a MONSTER. I felt like i was in the rodeo riding a wild bull. Seriously just wait. You'll see. I recommend this product for those who are looking for a new challenge. In truth once you learn to fly the chair it's the least demanding discipline on the lake. Moms and Dads looking for a way to spend time on the lake without injuring themselves should try the Hydrofoil. It take skill not brawn. The chair was well constructed and i bought the matching carrying bag. It's a must if you plan on storing in the boat.

I broke my knee this last winter and knew i was going to miss out on this summers wake board season. I have always seen the sky ski and wanted to try it so i researched it and found out that there is pretty much no pressure on your knees. i purchased one and love it! i wouldn't say that it is hard but it takes a lot of time to figure out the ballance of riding it. I have done a lot of water sports and it took me 3 trips to the lake before i could ride it in stillness but it was a lot of fun to learn and it didn't hurt at all to crash on. if you have the cash buy it!
