I recommend Sky and Telescope's laminated moon map for observation with binoculars or without visual aids. I recommend the more detailed Field Map of the Moon for use with a telescope.Regards, Red

This lunar chart is quite complete and provides a sturdy resource that can be reliably used outside for lunar viewing. The chart has an index of various lunar objects and is arranged in a manner that is useful.Francis J. O'Reilly

Sky and Telescope Moon Map Laminated good value,

Bought the Sky & Telescope Laminated Moon map from Sky and Telescope. For the low cost its good enough for field work with my 20 inch Obsession telescope. I get lots of dew on everything so the map being laminated is a big plus. It has good enough detail. I have the Rukl 1st edition Moon Atlas ( Even better is the 2nd revised edition but INMO too expensive), a masterpiece 5 star but its expensive and non laminated , just for inside research and then comparison.The low cost Sky & Telescope Laminated Moon map is good for outdoor use. I'm sure there are much better ones for outdoor use at higher prices. For inside research and comparison the Rukl Moon Atlas is 5 star plus a good investment.
