The instructions with the clock weren't so straight forward and it took about an hour to set up and find a signal, but its been working like a dream ever since. I chose this clock because it has humidity, temperature, AND outdoor temperature readings. Im not sure what is up with the moon phase part, it doesn't seem to work properly, but I don't really care, if i need to know what phase the moon is in i can look outside. My only criticism is it is rather plain looking, but if you just want something that functions, you can't go wrong.

I have been very pleased with the products from Skyscan. This is actually my third clock I still have my first one it is twelve years old and works fine. I purchased this one because it has the outdoor temperature sensor. I find that the outdoor sensor works rather well. Why people have trouble using these clocks is beyond me you just set it up and let it catch the signal. I like the fact it is just a clock I do not want it to be decorative. The first one I got will last five years on the batteries. You put the batteries in and do not have to touch it for five years it keeps the time and works great. These clocks have been absolutely some of the best things for the money I have ever purchased.

Great Clock and Love being able to read the temperature indoor/outdoor and it is accurate !
Not really sure why some people had problems with this clock ? I have had mine for 5 years now and have only replaced the batteries one time !
I LOVE knowing the outdoor temp ! Last night it was -18 degrees at my house here in Idaho and I didn't have any problems with the transmitter ! The people that have had problems with the outdoor temperature reading could have bought a new transmitter off of SkyScans website for $13.00 instead of buying a whole new clock and would have seen that if they would have gone to SkyScan's website for troubleshooting suggestions ! So I wonder if they even read the instruction manual and if it was really a faulty clock or a faulty customer/clock user ?
I know of at least 6 friends and or family members that have not had any problems with this little clock !
For the money, I feel it's a neat clock ! I highly recommend this clock !

I bought and returned 4 atomic clocks in the past 2 months. What good is an automatic clock where you have to set the time??? This one did it automatically. As it is supposed to or what is the point?

Of the 6 clocks purchased, 3 of the clocks 6 months later no longer work for longer than a day on fresh batteries. It was such a monetary waste of money. The other 3 are following a similar pattern. I WISH that had worked, but they are costing us a fortune in batteries. We are having to replace all the clocks (we had purchased 6 total on 2 orders). I'd order something else if you wish for it to last.

Having it wall mounted with the large digital display makes it easy to keep track of the date and time when you need it quickly. The fact it has an outdoor temperature sensor and sends the information to the wall clock just makes it better.

Mine stopped working after 6 months. I bought a second one thinking it would be ok but it would never display the time correctly no mater what time zone I selected. Took the second one back and got a third with a "new and better outdoor temp sensor" but it failed after 6 months. All three were different models.

I thought it was good at first. I had it mounted on the wall, to the left of my sliding glass door. It kept the time accurately, but I could NEVER count on it for the accuracy of the indoor or outdoor temperature(s.) I remember this past summer, it would say the outdoor temp was well over 100 degrees at 5:00 PM (between 100-113,) and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. It gets hot here, but not THAT hot! If anything, it was probably 90-ish maximum at that hour, and that's a stretch.

I got so sick of the inaccuracies I just took out the batteries and stuffed the clock in a drawer. If I want to know what time it is exactly, I always have my computer clock which is synced to NIST just like this clock was supposed to be.
