After having tried a multitude of kites already, some which I've reviewed and some which I haven't, I ended up on this particular kite after many wasted hours struggling to get continuous flight from kites in a more expensive bracket.

After opening the package and removing two rubber bands from the folded up streamer tail, I had this high in the air in less than thirty seconds. I was shocked at just how easy and simple this kite was to get going.

The kite also looks good in the air and as seeing kites in the air is more of an anomaly these days, several cars passing by all stopped to watch this thing whip around beautifully in the air.

The joy of flying a kite never ceases to amaze me and is a lot like meditation. If it's been awhile since you've flown one, I highly recommend this product.

The quality of the kite is sturdy, but I do recommend buying a 500 ft spool and maybe even a winder as the 120 feet of line that comes with it leaves you wanting to get it even higher. But 120 feet is enough for first time flyers.

My family loves this kite. We have gifted it to family and friends, and have bought a second one for ourselves. It is incredibly easy to get up as long as there is wind. If I can fly it anyone can. I'm the Charlie Brown of kite flying.

I have one of these in our cars in case we're out and there's a nice breeze. Easy to store!
Good to have one or two on hand for the last minute gift when the kids get invited to birthday party's as it fits for both girls and boys.

I don't know how I seemingly had such a different experience as the other reviewers. I'm a normal kite buyer as far as I know. I've flown kites as a kid, and I bought one to fly with my daughter. We had another older kite that broke and bought this one as a replacement, I'm no expert, but I did all the normal things one does to fly a kite, ran into the wind, had a one of us hold the kite 20 yards down wind and threw it up into the air. We've tried in low and relatively high wind conditions, and it was always easy to get started, but we were never able to get it to stay in the air. In low wind, it would just drop once you stopped running, in higher wind, it would zig and zag all over the place and eventually nose dive to the ground. Like I said, we've had fine luck with the older kite we had previously, but after 3+ tries with this one, I'm back on Amazon looking for a kite that's easier to fly.

This kite is very easy to operate.
It goes up and hangs over there.
Because the kite is frame-less it's very transportable: just wrap it around itself and you are done.

We lost one on the beach (a kid holding it let it go) so I am ordering two to replace it. For seven bucks it's a steal.

This kite is really easy to fly! I was able to fly it all the way from the highest peak of Gasworks park in Seattle, all the way over lake Union. I in fact had to pull my kite back a bit because I was worried about getting seaplane pilots jumpy and surprised at the close airspace proximity of my kite.

One pro that I'm not sure is mentioned by anyone else, is how portable this thing is if you leave it in its original packaging. I had no problem stuffing this in my suitcase and taking it back to Charlotte with me. I can't say the same for the other kite I bought with it, for which the packing experience was tantamount to stuffing a dead eagle into my suitcase.

I kind of wish it looked a little bit cooler or was a little bit bigger, but as for satisfying the basic needs of the task for which it was designed, this kite takes full marks, as it yearns to soar. If you are learning how to fly a kite, and don't want any challenges, then get this kite. Also, if you are interested in attaching a camera to your kite, and you want something seriously stable, then use this kite as well. Just don't ask me how to mount it...

Nice little value priced kite for under $20 shipped. You can have a lot of fun with these Parafoil frameless nylon kites.

'Skyfoil' makes a series of almost identical parafoil kites, offered in a range of sizes. This is their 'Lazer' model.
Skyfoil brand is inexpensive, but the workmanship and materials are fine for the price.

Because they have no frames, parafoil kites stuff down into a drawstring pouch and can live in your car trunk, backpack, bike bag or kayak. These are great on any beach or anywhere you can get around 7 to 10 mph breeze for starters.

These come with twin streamer tails, one on each side. Fun to fly. These are black nylon with various rainbow colors.

Only thing I would change about these kites is they come with only 125 feet of line. But you can easily swap out for 500' of line for a few dollars, here on Amazon or elsewhere.

Nice little parafoil kite series. Hope this review is helpful. Enjoy!

We got this kite to the beach on a day with a moderate breeze and eagerly pulled it out of the box. True to the description, no assembly was required... we unfolded the kite, attached a hook to the loop on the bottom, and it took off quickly. My kids were delighted, and the long tails were especially fun to watch. However, as we rolled out the kite we noticed very quickly that the spool was hard to hold. There were no easy handles to grip, especially a problem for a small child. When we got the entire string unrolled, the kite was not particularly high in the sky. I grabbed a long stick and threaded the spool onto it to make it easier for my kids to hold. We continued to have fun with the kite on its highest setting when suddenly the string came off the spool and the kite started to fly away!

Fortunately we got ahold of the string and I tied a better knot, but overall I'd say that the entirely spool experience (short string, poorly attached, difficult to hold spool) sullied the kite for me. I'd still recommend you buy it, but be sure to buy yourself a decent spool of string to go with it because the one included is near useless.
