I bought this item thinking it was the best in the market. The combination transmitter reciver has to be no further than 15 feet away for it to work. Not sure if the issue was with the transmitter but after the trouble I went through I don't trust the skylink brand.
Amazon was very good in returning my entire purchase price + the shipping cost. Also the return shipping was free. Amazon amazed me :) but skylink did not .

Bought this and the ad 105. Easily programed the tel. numbers, 92 year old fell, broke leg, she pushed button on the remote; it performed as advertised and very well. Her doctor now is interested in the product.
