Programming/Jumper Setting Issue,

This review is from: Skylink TS-101A Temperature Sensor (Tools & Home Improvement)
The Skylink AD-433S Dialer kept calling every hour on the hour as soon as I associated the temperature sensor to the dialer. There is a section called "compatibility jumper" located in the instruction sheet. Make sure jumper J2 is in the correct position for the sensor to properly work with your dialer. This was mentioned by another reviewer but I thought I should add the annoyance of being called every hour if the jumper was not set correctly. Kind of an odd configuration issue.

Check the Englis Instructions,

This review is from: Skylink TS-101A Temperature Sensor (Tools & Home Improvement)
The TS-101A works fine with the dialer and base unit as long as you use the English Instructions on the Skylink WEB Site. The English instructions that came with the product do not show that jumper J2 has to be plugged for it to work properly with the dialer and/or the SC-100 base unit.

This review is from: Skylink TS-101A Temperature Sensor (Tools & Home Improvement)
The temperature shown on this sensor is about 2 degrees (Celsius) higher than the actual temperature. The sensor also responds incredibly slow to temperature changes. I called the Skylink customer service, got first confusing answers, then a supervisor and she said that this was normal. I couldn't believe what I heard and asked back several times but obviously Skylink knows that this unit shows temperatures at 2 degrees higher, and they find this perfectly okay. This is supposed to be part of a "security system" ???
