Great collection of the most popular studio tracks from the 1970;s Southern Rockers including the extended jam and cold end to "Freebird" and some other rarities.

Lynyrd Skynyrd has got to be, hands down one of the best southern rock bands of all time. On this best of disc you get 13, count 'em 13 tracks with the majority of them being good. One problem is the lack of songs from their album from Gimme back my bullets. The only song you get from that album is double trouble the outtake version, which pretty much sounds the same. You also get the outtake version of freebird which is the same but it goes on for another minute or so and it ends a little differently. The only song I don't like is Truck drivin man, probably because I'm not a truck driver so I can't relate to it. Workin' for MCA also gets on my nerves and what's your name and gimme three steps are okay songs but besides those songs the rest of the cd is good.
