This DVD includes three films: "Saga Of The Skyraider," a history of the aircraft through the Vietnam War; "The Flying Hobos," which covers activities of 1st Air Commando Squadron pilots, known as the "Flying Hobos," as they prepare for a mission. Also shows A-1Es departing and returning to base at Pleiku AB in 1967. Please note! Flying Hobos is unedited film footage; the third film shows the 1st Air Commando operational ready force of A-1Es and crews at Pleiku in 1966. This film shows briefing, preflight inspection, uploading of ordnance, aircraft taxiing, taking off, in flight on mission runs and landing, engine maintenance and battle damaged A-1E. Also covers Lt. Col. John J. Knight, commander 1st ACS, awarding medals to members in brief ceremony on flight line. Please Note: This film contains no narration. It includes captions and a music soundtrack.
