Life is what you make it...,

I love that song to death. Great album. He has an amazing voice that would have done well in the secular world as he once sang with Santana. I've enjoyed his gift over the years and he has several cd's that I particularly like.

I don't often hear or listen to religious music. In 1984, I heard a friend playing this album that he had copied to a cassette. I hadn't paid attention to the words, but, the music caught my attention as I passed by his office. He made a copy of the cassette for me. Since then, I have purchased the Album and a cassette. I just love the music of this album. If you are religious, you will probably like the lyrics, also. Many of the songs could pass as secular songs. For example, "Life Is What You Make It" has a ragae sound and a simple message. I think my favorites are "Love Calling", "I've Heard the Thunder", and "Sing Unto The Lord." George Carlin is credited as saying that music is the only good thing to come from religion. This may be an example. Nearly 26 years later, I still listen to this album and enjoy it.
