"The Skywalker Family Album" delivers what it promises. It is a scrapbook of the most famous family in the galaxy featuring large photo stills and film slices. The book primarily compares the family's children to the parents. Thus in addition to pointing out the similarities between Anakin and Luke, the approximations between Padme and Leia are made. I suppose that just like in a real family album, the negative things are omitted. In this, there is no mention of Darth Vader. The book features scenes from all films except Episode III. Alice Alfonsi had the vision to print the cover and pages with the simulated rings and holes that would be found in an actual scrapbook. "The Skywalker Family Album" is a fun read that ties the Skywalker-Amidala family together.

THIS WAS OFFERED AT ONE TIME ON THE STAR WARS WEBSITE ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO BUT I WAS GLAD TO FIND IT AGAIN IN BOOK FORM. THIS LITTLE BOOK TIES THE STAR WARS MOVIES TOGETHER BY EXPLAINING WHO THE SKYWALKERS WERE & THEIR RELATIONSHIPS TO OTHER CHARACTERS IN THE SW MOVIES. I BOUGHT THESE FOR MY MENTORING GROUP ( THE JEDI ACADEMY )TO EXPLAIN WHO WAS WHO BUT I ALSO BOUGHT SOME AS GIFTS FOR FELLOW SW FANS. VERY SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND & A GREAT BOOK TO READ TO KIDS. THE SW UNIVERSE IS COMPLICATED BUT THIS BOOK EXPLAINS IT VERY WELL TO YOUNGER SW FANS. THE FORCE WILL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS!

This short kiddy book uses pictures and illustrations from the first 5 STAR WARS films to display the lifestyle similarities between the Skywalkers: Anakin and Luke, Padme and Leia, Luke and Leia. The book is really short, but is fun to look through especially if you are or know a young STAR WARS fan.

I have a young Star Wars fanatic in the house and this was a perfect surprise gift for him. It came in the mail really quickly and in great shape. The book itself is worth the money. It covers all the main Skywalker relatives as well as some secondary characters. There are great photos and great comparisons between mother/daughter and father/son. My son was thrilled with it.
