Great trampoline once you get it up.

Please learn from my mistakes:
1) Don't let 19 year old try to set up with help of 8 and 9 year old sibs
2) Don't let husband retry to set it up without setting aside several hours to accomplish the task
3) Read all of the directions before you even open the parts
4) Live close to a welder and parts store
5) Set some ground rules about behavior one can exhibit during set up-no cursing, no throwing things, no threats of divorce, no jumping on the trampoline before all parts assembled regardless of what was promised earlier in the day.
6) Plan on a wholesome family outing after set up to heal wounded feelings and soothe residual frustration.

Love Love Love this product, BUT the order of what needed to be done when did cause some confusion. Now that I've done it, it's easy to understand, but a really awesome feature is that the net is secured using each spring. Makes it really tight and secure, but my friend and I had to get creative with rope to pull each spring back to get the netting with each spring, because we completely put together the trampoline first. In reality, the instructions should be combined, so the things that have to be intertwined can be easier. All in all, well worth the enjoyment of jumping, and having kids laugh uncontrollably when the adults can jump with them (not that the product's company would recommend that).

This was a biday present for my 7 year old, her father spent 8 hours setting it up because of one thing that was left out of the directions - those clips T connectors come OFF of the pieces they're on, it wasn't until we had taken the thing apart and put it back together so many times in so many configurations that it loosened up enough for us to realize they aren't welded onto the bars. After that the frame set up was easy, but getting to that point was PAINFUL.

also, be sure to align with the bars in place for the safety net, don't try and eyeball it, because if you're one spring off it won't fit together correctly - so we suggest this sequence:

111222111222 for the bars in an oval, then be sure the t bars are one with a connector for the enclosure, next one without connector - continue that sequence all the way around, you will have to pull off the T connectors as they're not attached appropriately before shipping. Insert the enclosure bars with enclosure attached FIRST - the directions say to line up the tramp - that doesn't work. trust me. then pull the strings in a sequence to make them even. This will save you at least 4 hours LOL

Otherwise, I know others complained about the bounce but we like it, it feels much higher than a neighbors and its a soft bounce so you really get the motion, its not a hard bounce that you feel like you're fighting against or going to get thrown off. Overall - those directions need to be re-written and the product is high quality

Given that this trampoline is an oval, the instructions for assembly and the markings on the materials are one star at best. The oval isn't marked very well. The stickers on the pipes fall off and you have to guess which ones they are. Overall assembly is real easy, so I'm not sure why the instructions were so unclear. And why the mat doesn't have clear markings for the oval.

The trampoline comes with the safety net already attached, so there are two things you have to get right when setting it up

1. Trampoline mat must match the oval of the structure
2. Safety net must align with safety net holders

The mat itself is not very well labeled. It is said that the opening is your direction, but that didn't align with the safety posts and the safety net. We had to install, remove and then install the mat again because of mis alignment. With a round trampoline, this problem doesn't exist.

The trampoline itself is great. It's big, so when your kids jump in there, they aren't constantly bumping into each other. The springs feel a bit soft, and they seem to stretch out after a while. I'm not sure how easy it is to get replacement springs, but that is the first thing I would look for after the first year of use.

The safety net is very well attached at the bottom mat, it's 10x better than your average trampoline as there are no gaps between mat and safety net. The net itself looks frail. We live in Colorado with very strong winds, and all our neighbors nets have been destroyed by the wind itself. I'll update the review once we've seen how the safety net holds up.

The kids love it of course. And the size, yes it's better. This would have been 4 or 5 stars had assembly instructions been better.

Perfect size for older kids, easy to put together and perfect price. I would recommend this item to anyone who has older kids who like to jump. It is a good size for practicing tumbling and dance moves without the price of a sport tramp.

It works, it feels safe, nice size, no tares, overall great product. Not to hard to put together. Make sure to get stakes if you live in a high wind area or get nasty storms like we do.
