5.0 out of 5 stars Great suitcase
This bag is super light weight but still sturdy enough for normal use. With the 50 lb limits on baggage, you really need something like this if you want to carry more than a few items.
It doesn't have a lot of extra pockets or dividers - but that is what helps keep it light.
I also appreciated the choice of colors so that I could have a case that didn't look...

3.0 out of 5 stars It's functional...it's what I paid for
I got this suitcase to replace the one I broke prior to my trip to Nevada in July. I'm not keen on checking bags, so my carry on (along with my briefcase) is generally my travel kit. For what I paid for it (under 40 bucks) I get a functional carry on that I can pack a business week's worth of clothing in. It is tight, but it all fits.

Pros: Lightweight,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect combination of soft- and hard-sided luggage, August 24, 2007

I selected this bag in part because of the 5-star reviews, and they were accurate. Exceptionally light -- it's only as heavy as what you put in it, yet packs & contains contents as well as a hard case. Handles on both top and side allow you to carry it whichever way is comfortable. The belt that allows you to "piggy back" another tote is very useful. So far (1 trip), I've found it wheels & stands beautifully. Bonus for me: the small silver logo is a nice retro touch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice suitcase, October 16, 2007

I don't plan to use this much, so the price was right. I really only needed it to last one trip, but it seems sturdy enough for a lot of use. I got the discounted, discontinued, and gloriously awful color of "Copper", which made it very easy to find on airport carousels. The lower front pouch was roomy enough for my large ankle boots and the zippers held up very well. Being expandable was quite a plus for my trip home after shopping. Lots of dirt on it when I got it off the plane shows it was probably handled quite roughly but that's the only way I'd know, it held up very nicely. I like that the handle stows into it's own compartment and it handles very smoothly on its wheels. A high quality item for the price!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for money, February 7, 2008

I looked at lots of luggage online before selecting this due to other good reviews, but frankly I didn't have high expectations since it was a fraction of the cost of other bags. It turned out to be perfect. It's just the right size -- large enough to live out of for a month but not so big it needs its own hotel room. I just went half way around the world and back and the bag showed no wear and tear. The only negative is that it is a bit front heavy and can topple forwards. A small flaw in a bag that's such a great value.

just as described. Material seems to be very good. My son took it on a plane for a 1 week vacation. There was enough room for everything and it was very sturdy, because he is very rough with everything. Would recommend this brand and seller.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Bag!, September 19, 2010

This review is from: Skyway Sigma 2 26" Expandable Vertical Packing Case (Apparel)
It is true what they say. I recommend this bag to any one looking for lightweight durable luggage. I purchased one of these bags 2+ years ago because I needed something quick and inexpensive. I thought it would only last one or two trips because of the price. But 2+ years later it is now my favorite bag and it goes every where with me. Before using Skyway luggage I was always over the 50lb airline weight limit. But not with this bag. It is also durable as I have taken it on multiple airline and train trips but also walked the streets of New York City pulling it behind me when I couldn't get a cab.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's functional...it's what I paid for, December 10, 2007
I got this suitcase to replace the one I broke prior to my trip to Nevada in July. I'm not keen on checking bags, so my carry on (along with my briefcase) is generally my travel kit. For what I paid for it (under 40 bucks) I get a functional carry on that I can pack a business week's worth of clothing in. It is tight, but it all fits.

Pros: Lightweight, comfy handles (I can't stand it when folks MUST drag their bag down the aisle of a plane), fits in any overhead larger than the regional jets, and it hasn't given out yet (probably a dozen trips since July)

Cons: Tends to be front heavy and tips forward when fully loaded, would like a tri-fold insert for shirts & coats, roller handle feels flimsy (but again, no issues yet)

Overall, it's a good functional suitcase...no suitcase is going to last forever, but this one is serving me just fine. I wish I could find the cassini for sale as a separate entity as I used that for 2 years before I broke it...I loved that thing.

This is the best suitcase I've ever bought. It has many compartments & expands to fit everything needed for a week's vacation.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for light travel and moving along large airports, August 29, 2010
This luggage is a nice value. I use it mostly for road trips and will be handling it myself, so I have found that it works out really well so far. Whether it would survive airline baggage handlers, I don't know -- but it seems like very rugged case, so I'd definitely give it a try. This is a great case, especially for the low price. It has lots of room, plenty of pockets for small stuff, rolls easily and seems well made. The handle appears sturdy, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Knew what I was getting. Im happy., August 18, 2010

My girlfriend and I are taking a train out to Utah for a few weeks this summer. We got her two of these a few weeks back. I liked them so much I decided to get one more for myself.

They seem quite sturdy and have plenty of space. Im looking forward to using them on the train.
