Exquisitely expressive - choice slack key,

It amazes me that I had to stumble upon the work of Cindy Combs. She deserves more notariety. Her guitar has the round, peaceful sound that reminds me of the sweetest Tom Rush playing of the '60's but I actually like her guitar work better. She is solidly among the best slack key players I have heard. Her playing is superior to her singing, but she sings with the same sensitivity and grace. All-in-all, finest kind.

If you want a great album to relax by, this is one. The slack key guitar is an excellent invention and excellently played by Cindy Combs. You should enjoy this album in your collection.
