Dewon Sawa is the impish leader of a trio of higher-education shysters who are blackmailed by deranged nerd Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore) into playing cupid in this latest twist on the college prank comedy. It starts playfully enough and winds through some clever test-taking shell games and commando-style operations to cheat the system, but soon enough falls into a familiar formula of teen sex, outrageous pranks, and gross-out gags. If that's your bag, this film rings the bell with a mind-boggling scene involving Schwartzman, '60s sex bomb Mamie Van Doren, and a sponge bath. Now I understand why the critics did not love this movie. It is neither deep nor ground-breaking in any way shape or form. But, I think that most people will find that it is quite hilarious! Jason Schwartzmann is ridiculous and entertaining as the psychotic stalker of the movie, and all of his scenes will make you laugh so hard that you'll nearly pee your pants. And of course all girls fall for the adorable Devon Sawa (I'm tellin ya- no one can resist that beautiful smile) So if you want an intelligent comedy or a groundbreaking movie experience rent something else, but if you are in the mood for a [funny] college comedy then by all means- THIS is the one to watch. I promise you won't be dissapointed.

I bought Slackers from Hollywood Video for 2.99. I never seen it before buying it. I am happy that I did buy this movie. It is pretty funny. It took me awhile but I realize Davie is Devon Sawa from Little Giants. I was in middle school when I saw Little Giants. I had a crush on Devon Sawa. He still looks good now.

If you are looking for a funny movie and don't feel like taking yourself too seriously, then this is the movie for you! Silly college humor mixed with Jason Schwartzman's hilariouis character "Cool Ethan" has me rolling every time! This in is no way in an Academy Award winning piece, just a laughable colletion of pranks and grossouts. I suggest watching it with a group of fun friends and lots of beer!

Slackers
The movie came in good condition and worked great however the writing on the front of the case was in English and French as well. Was not expecting that as it was a gift.
