About the Author

Roberta Parker taught secondary school students in New York, Maryland, and Florida. She has drawn upon a decade of experiences teaching children with attention deficit disorder to write this fictional but realistic story.

Harvey C. Parker, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and a former teacher. He is a co-founder of CH.A.D.D., a national support group for individuals and families affected by attention deficit disorders. Dr. Parker lectures nationally on the subject of ADD and educational and behavioral problems of childhood and adolescents. He has appeared on the Today Show and on 20/20 to discuss issues of how ADD affects children.
