The redone tracks from the Step On It album (In my opinion, Slapshot's best) are worth it by themselves: if you don't have Step On It, you won't be missing anything if you buy this album, all the classics songs are on here. The fact that you get live performances as well as 16 other bitchin' tracks from Slapshot's other albums further sweeten the deal. This album is most definitely worth the price, especially if you nab it from one of the Amazon sponsored sellers for $9.99 like I did. 22 classic tracks, fully redone with incredible punch and volume, plus live performances. How can you go wrong?

KILLER. in order to satisfy the fans, they issue this collection of "hits". but not just a rehash, they go into the studio and RE-RECORD EVERYTHING so that it sounds fresh, like they play it NOW! some of those old recordings are great, but to hear them totally thrash out like they do live (and i've seen them many times recently!), is truly a treat. if you have the old cd's, great. this is not rehash - it's fresh, vicious and crucial.
