3.0 out of 5 stars Solid episode guide, April 1, 2011

This review is from: The Slayers Ultimate Fan Guide Book 1 (Paperback)
The fan guide book has a plot summary on every episode in The Slayers season 1 with pictures from the more memorable scenes take straight from the anime. It also includes a few paragraphs on the main characters, explaining their personality and development throughout the course of the season. The final section in the back has a listing of suggested stats and description of spells for a table top rpg. The book is what you would expect of a fan guide, with general information and some thoughtful insight into a few characters. If you can get it inexpensively, it is not a bad buy. If you are interested in character art though, you might prefer looking into the manga or Rui Arizumi's artbook.
