I am extremely picky about pillows and replace them once or twice a year when they begin to go flat. I have tried 8 or 9 different brands of "extra firm" pillows and the Cervo Comfort Bolster Pillow is hands down THE BEST pillow I have EVER slept on. I've had mine for 4 months now and it's just as firm and comfortable as the first night I slept on it. I am a light sleeper but since I've had this pillow I now sleep undisturbed through the night. It is amazing what a difference the right pillow can make in regards to the quality level of sleep.

Bought this pillow after some research to replace a worn-out memory foam pillow. I sleep with a CPAP mask and most pillows put pressure on the mask. Also have a misaligned cervical vertebra (C7) that requires the right pillow for me to sleep without pain. Thought this pillow would be a little softer than the memory foam without the problems of pushing on the CPAP mask. Unfortunately, this pillow doesn't work for me. It is much softer than I expected an extra-firm pillow to be and did place pressure on my mask. There is no difference in thickness/height between the cervical roll and the main part of the pillow & does not allow my head to rest in a natural alignment position. It is still a nice pillow for other people at home and will use it for that.

I've had a lot of problem with my neck and shoulders and have purchased at least 6 pillows in the last year in an attempt to alleviate the problem. I'd seen this pillow on The Doctor's and it looked like something that might help. I'm pleased with the pillow, though I wish it were a little "puffier". I ordered the firm because most other pillows seem to lose there "puff" soon after purchase and become too flat.

I like this pillow. I got the firm and found it did relieved my neck pain. I still suffer from pain in my shoulders and upper back, but I am happy to be rid of the neck pain. The only thing I don't like about the pillow is that it is hard to fit in a pillow case. I had to search for one that fit. I use a king size pillow case and fold it over. You have to fluff it or it does get flatter, but I think that is the case with any pillow. I love that there are two different materials stuffed in it. One type in the small roll and another in the larger part of the pillow. I couldn't tell you the stuffing, but the smaller roll feels like some type of memory foam. I love how it supports my neck. I don't find it to be hot and I live in Texas, so that's a plus. I have had this pillow for 3 months now, and want to purchase another one for my husband.

This is exactly what is wanted. It is really firm as it is stated.

If you are really looking for a firm pillow, I suggest this.

I love this pillow. I've purchased the firm and the extra firm. Both are satisfactory, but I like the extra firm best. It is great for sitting and reading in bed, placing under an arm or between the legs, or just laying one's head on and getting the extra support.

I got the Extra Firm version of this pillow, thinking it was equal to the bolster pillows used in yoga, but it's much softer than that. I have a bad back and wanted the firmess of a bolster for my back while I sit, and this pillow doesn't deliver. It provides more support than a regular cushion and is a good pillow, but it is defintely NOT a true bolster.

After reading the other reviews on how it help with back pain, I thought I would give it a try. It relieved a little of the back pain but now I wake up with neck pain and headaches. I have tried placing the pillow different ways but nothing helps it. I have given up and started using my plain old pillow again

I've been having pretty bad neck pain for quite awhile, and it usually is worse in the morning when I first wake up. I'm sure it is at least partially because of my pillow, and I have tried a few different types of pillows recently to see if any will alleviate the pain. After seeing a segment on The Doctors recommending this pillow for neck pain, I decided I should try it. After using it for a couple weeks, it doesn't seem to be helping at all. I think my pain was starting to go away a little bit with my memory foam pillow, but it started getting worse again after switching to this pillow.

That being said, the pillow is really comfortable. It has a nice plush filling that keeps its shape pretty well. Even though it didn't help my neck pain, I still sleep pretty well with it. Bottom line: if you're looking for a nice, comfortable pillow, this is a good one. If you're looking to alleviate neck pain, you might want to talk to a doctor or someone who can recommend the right pillow for you.

I have serious neck and back issues. This is by far the most comfortable pillow I have ever used. I got the extra firm version and it is awesome. I highly recommend this product.
