My husband and I registered for this mattress after doing a lot of research and it has definitely fulfilled our expectations. We didn't want to skimp when it came to the mattress our son would be sleeping on. We felt it was worth the money for 2 reasons:

1) It's for our son!!!

2) It will last when he's in his toddler bed

I don't know if it's because of the mattress, but he has been sleeping through the night for at least 9 hours since the first night that we put him on this mattress in his crib at 2 months. I laid on it myself and it seems perfect for him.

I love it so much that my cousin is getting it for her son who is on the way. I recommend it to all of my pregnant friends.

I bought this mattress because my husband and I own a Simmons Mattress ourselves. We love our mattress and I am positive that our daughter will love her mattress too.

I love the fact that this mattress has two sides to it. One side is to be used when the baby is less than a year old, then you flip it over and it can be used for when the baby is a toddler. I lied on the baby side and it is quite firm. Then when I lied on the toddler side, it was a bit softer.

I knew that when I was choosing a crib and a mattress I wanted to get a good quality mattress and I know that I made the right choice with this one. It fits wonderfully with my Delta Europa Crib. Besides the baby is going to spend most of the time sleeping why not invest on a good quality mattress. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone. It is a good investment.

We just bought this mattress a few weeks ago at BRU, and it fits our crib very well. I have small hands, and I can't get my fingers between the crib and mattress anywhere. Maybe because we purchased at the store rather than online, we got a newer version of the same mattress(?). I'm not sure if that is the case or whether the crib (Biella antique white) is sized to be compatible. But if it is a newer version of the mattress, it may be better to purchase it in the store rather than online, and to ask to check its fit in a floor model of your crib, if available. Crib safety is too important, so I am glad that we purchased at the store rather than online.

The mattress covering seems to be high quality compared to many others that we looked at and touched in the store. It feels like it will be more waterproof than some, but was not as plasticky as others. We haven't used it yet, so we cannot comment on how long it will actually last. I like that it has an infant side and a toddler side, and that it is designed to transition.

We bought this mattress for our firstborn in 2003 and loved it. We were really happy to see that Simmons still make this mattress and have now for our new baby girl. Thank goodness that Simmons did not change a winning product.

It looks like a good mattress (our baby is still on her way, so we haven't used it yet). Feels firm and well constructed. However, it doesn't fit our Stork Craft Stage Crib, Lenox... about an inch too small, both length and width.

Here's my advice. If you are not sure about the fit of a mattress after purchase, test it with your crib WITHOUT OPENING THE PLASTIC BAG. We opened the bag, so the Babies'R'Us store we purchased from does not take it back. Now, we have to look for a filler....

I bought this mattress for my 1st baby. It fit her (Simmons) crib ok (maybe a 1 inch gap between mattress and foot of bed), her crib is a drop side.

The mattress has held up well so I bought it again for my 2nd baby, who has a different model crib (Ragazzi), a stationary one, no drop sides. This time, there is a 2 inch gap between the mattress and the foot of the bed.

I'm afraid the baby will get stuck. The furniture store told me that drop side cribs are a bit smaller, so i'm now in the hunt for a larger mattress...

I purchased this matress at BRU today and am disappointed that I'll have to return it. It is about an inch shorter than the Sealy mattress my son is now using in his toddler bed. So, I definitely know it will not fit snugly in our old crib. Be wary that this mattress is not of standard crib size, it measures a little over 51 inches.

We purchased this mattress for my daughter and it fit her crib perfectly we have a Simmons Crib. She has been sleeping in her crib since she is 3 months old and it works great. I love the fact that when she is older we can flip it over and she can still use it. I would recommend this mattress to any expecting parents. My husband and I didn't want to skimp on our babies mattress and we are very happy with our choice.

I have recently discovered that it does not fit my crib. I have the Simmons Ventian crib and there is a 2-inch gap between the foot of the mattress and the foot of the crib - just enough space for my daughter's foot to slip through. We called Simmons to see if we had assembled the crib incorrectly and they told my husband that we had to buy a new mattress that fit the crib! I will be returning this mattress to BRU ASAP! Simmons does not get any points from me!

This is an excellent crib mattress. It's vinyl covering makes keeping it clean very easy. Being 2 sided, it offers different support for your baby as he/she grows. My daughter has always been comfortable when she sleeps. Excellent investment based on durability...you won't have to buy another for your next child.
