This book contains fabulous illustrations in addition to the lyrics to the songs. Michael Card also includes advice\devotionals for parents. This book is a must have for all Christian parents!

My children first experienced the peace of falling asleep to this book and tape set. Now years later , my grandchildren are doing the same. This is an excellent way to introduce the real character of Jesus to our little ones.This set helps you to take time in this "hurried" world to stop,take a breath and relax with your child. It is the "traditional" gift set for any new addition to our family,it is that life-changing!

We give this book along with the accompanying CD to couples having their 1st child. It is an awesome CD that our kids enjoyed for many years falling asleep to and they loved having us read them the book. It's a gift that others will enjoy for many years.

This is a great book for children who are going to be raised with religion. I am glad that I purchased it with the CD! I am especially fond of the last lullaby, although rather adult in nature. It is a lullaby for aborted babies. It is a lullaby to never be sung, so it does NOT appear on the CD.

Bring elegance and beauty to your baby's family. The book is a gorgeous exposition of the miracle of life and the music cd that goes with it will minister to you and your baby.

I have purchased this book and CD by ths same name since my first grandchild was born in 1991. I have no idea how many I have given as gifts, but I am sure it is over 25. I just ordered another set 2 weeks ago and am now ordering 2 more. The prayers to pray over your new baby are so important and follow teachings of scripture. The tunes are so relaxing, not only for the baby, but for the parents as well. I feel good when I give this as a gift. It won't be a duplicate gift; and I know it will bring a blessing into the home, not only for this child, but others to come.

I bought several Lullaby CDs for our newborn and this is my favorite. Very happy with this purchase. We haven't spent as much time in the book, however (CD and book sold separately) - but, listen to the CD often.

I love this CD. When I rock my grandson to sleep with this music playing, I am ready to sleep as well. It stills my heart and makes me smile as the words are so sweet. Love it. My grandson starts falling off on the first song after playing this for a while. I am fighting not falling asleep:)

We played the tape with these lullabies for our baby when she was born 18 years ago. Now we give the book and CD to many couples having a baby. The lullabies are just as relevant and beautiful now as they were 18 years ago.

I was under the impression it was a Lullaby Cd...not a book. Oh well.
