Ok everyone, I just downloaded these tracks. They are just part of what you find on the actual cd (not sure why that is.)

Here are my impressions on first listen:

Hope: Not too thrilled with this one. It is essentially the original track with a funky beat.
Losing Keys: Love this one. Got some great jazz undertones with some great trumpet playing.
Hope: That's right, it is on here twice. This one is a little better than the other, but again is the original track with a little harder beat and some ok backup vocals. Fun piano work in the background as well.
Monsoon: Definately different. I think this one will grow on me, not extremely impressed right off. Sounds like an organ playing along.
They Do, They Don't: Organ music over the original. Not impressed.
Angel: Loved the original and....I like this one. Nothing groundbreaking again though. Same track with organ overtones.
If I Had Eyes: Finally something really creative. Not just the original. A little too happy/upbeat for my taste, sounds almost like a christmas song. But good.

Overall: I have to give this a C. I wasn't impressed. I'm a hard core Jack fan but there is nothing new here. I could have done most of this on my computer. They have just added different beats to the songs.

I probably would not have bought this album at full price, but being that it was on sale and I love remixes, why not? This isn't a radical remix like you hear from other singer/songwriters who collaborate with electronica specialists who keep everything but the voice of the original takes. What Jack is saying here is, whoa, let's change it up a bit but not go totally crazy. It was the reggae take of Hope that got me goin'. So with the original album, now you have three versions of Hope, and Jack can also get you to do your homework and study this stuff as you ask, hey, what's the difference? I think Mr. Johnson is onto something, could start a "subtle remix" trend.

I have been a fan of Jack Johnson for years. I feel this album fell a little short of some of his previous releases. The songs tend to blend into each other and sound like the same song with different words. But still a nice diddy to throw on while at work.
