if the first album was a story about the future and where we are heading, this album is about a horrible dream, a nightmare, with monsters. Their sound is a little more raw and not as clean sounding as the first, which is fitting. Some very nice strings like always.. the vocals are hard to understand at times, but are haunting and beautiful.. the electric guitar will send shivers up your spine, and you'll find your self singing these songs in ur heads over and over again, wanting to listen to the cd more and more.

Give Electric President a try, I love the concepts behind each album and the craftsmanship on each song is wonderful. Favorite track? Robophobia. Who knew nightmares could sound so appealing?

Wonderful soundscapes, clever lyrics, a seamless blend of happy, dark, ethereal and tragic all wrapped into one sound. If you like Postal Service, you will absolutely love these guys. I only wish that these guys would find a way to take their music on the road.

so why does a CD of music made in a shed cost $18? i know the band isn't greedy, but someone is, and stupid too, because i can listen to music legally all day now and never pay a dime, the only reason i buy a CD once in awhile is to support the people who make the music. clearly buying this CD is supporting a greedy idiot trying to milk these bands, unfortunately this greedy idiot has good taste and has a label that is costing all these bands the fans they should have with their ridiculous snotty marketing ideas. I bought my DVD of Inland Empire for about $20, the movie took hundreds of people and world famous actors working for months to make it, probably cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. this CD made by a few people in a shed costs almost as much? Oh well, you can buy this CD, it's only a few bucks more, just don't complain when their next CD costs $25.
