Excellent results with sleep right night guard!,
By Donna Marie (Roanoke, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: SleepRight NO-BOIL Dental Guard Slim-Comfort (Health and Beauty)
I have been using this product for approximately five years. After being diagnosed with TMJ problems, I was given a sleep right night guard by my chiropractor to try. I had been experiencing head aches, and ear problems before I began using the night guard. Since using the night guard I no longer experience head aches or ear problems when waking up in the a.m. I do have to replace the sleep right about every 3 months due to clenching so hard that I wear them out in about 3 months. If you have TMJ related problems I would suggest you try the Sleep Right night guard. I have had the best results with the low profile. It seems to be more comfortable for sleeping.

The first mouthguard I can actually sleep with,
This review is from: SleepRight NO-BOIL Dental Guard Slim-Comfort (Health and Beauty)
I've had this mouthguard about a week and I absolutely love it. I grind my teeth pretty bad when I sleep so I always wake up with sore spots on the sides of my tongue. I was a bit hesitant to spend $40 on a plastic mouthpiece but it has been so worth it!Not only are the sore spots on my tongue completely gone, but I have no trouble keeping the mouthguard in my mouth all night long. With other devices, I would unknowingly remove it in the middle of the night. But that has not happened to me even once. It's very comfortable and I would highly recommend it!

wonderful purchase.,

recently, i purchased the sleepright adjustable low-profile night guard for some severe nightly grinding. this night guard was the first out of about 4 or 5 that i have purchased that actually fit my mouth properly. it gives 4-5 adjustments that can be used to fit yourself properly. my mouth closes completely when i wear it during the night. also, it is designed so that it does not move around at all while you sleep. i highly recommend this product to anyone that has found other options too bulky. i plan on continuing to use this as long as i continue to grind... which could be forever. i know that i will be absolutely satisfied with it!

I purchased the SleepRight night guard -low profile about 2 weeks ago and have been using it faithfully. It has helped me to stop clenching and grinding my teeth therefore eliminating my headaches. The low profile is especially good for me. I have a nightguard from my dentist but it was not stopping me from grinding my teeth, I was grinding the night guard against my bottom teeth. So far I have been pleased with the SleepRight night guard and I recommend it to anyone who has this problem.

Cracked off a piece of my tooth,

I just want to warn anyone about this product based on my own experiences. My teeth slipped off this product during the third night that I used it and I ended up cracking off a piece of my molar. Needless to say, I was not happy. There is nothing to keep the product in your mouth, and so, if you grind your teeth (which is I think the point of the mouth guard) it can slip off in your mouth. The company gave me a refund and "officially" claimed that they never heard of this happening before. Yet, one person at the company had previously slipped and told me that someone else had a claim similar to mine. Just based on the design of the product, it is easy to see how it might happen to many others.

Product with potential but poor customer service,

This night guard is the first non custom-made guard to have worked for me. But after two weeks of daily use, the bite pads broke in two. When I called SleepRight customer service, I was told to mail them my guard and receipt and they will send me a replacement. I did that more than a month ago and I have not heard from them since. Needless to say, I am more than disappointed that SleepRight does not honor their warranty promises.

mrs flat- teeth,

I have had problems with my teeth grinding in my sleep at night.Ive tried several over the counter bite plates, but found them uncomfortable and ineffective. My dentist suggested Sleepright and I can feel the difference. It really has trained my brain to stop touching my upper and lower teeth; when I do my jaw gets shakey, prompting me to open. Thank you very much. I alerted my dentist already!

I had spent several hundreds of dollars on a dentist-made guard but was never happy with the fit. So, I decided to try one of the other options out there. I was drawn to this product because I have a smaller mouth and thought it would be perfect for me. It turns out that it wasn't quite what I thought it would be. It held my mouth open at an awkward angle, so my jaw ended up being more sore in the morning than without it. Also, the strap ended up bothering my gums. While I think the concept of this product was great, it still needs to be tweaked before I will buy it again.I ended up finding one that fit better: Dr. Brux. It's a lot more expensive (runs $49.99 - $69.99) but I am extremely happy with it. It seems like it would be more bulky, but I find it is more comfortable than any other night guard I have tried.

Couldn't be better,
This review is from: SleepRight NO-BOIL Dental Guard Slim-Comfort (Health and Beauty)
I chew through one of these about every seven or eight months. I have a small mouth and it fits perfectly. I don't know what I did without it. I have tried other guards and they are too stiff and/or too big. This one is flexible and adjustable. I highly recommend giving it a try or try the full size if you have a normal sized mouth. The low profile one is definately for a small mouth.

Keep Looking!,

I ended up purchasing two of these. The regular profile one did not seem to fit correctly, so I purchased the Low Profile as well. I am not please with either. They are bulky in your mouth, and do not stay in all night! I often find mine on the pillow in the morning. I will keep looking until I find something better!
