Editorial Reviews

Following the tradition of Showtime's original series soundtrack releases, this CD highlights the most explosive and defining music from the series, celebrating critically acclaimed artists such as Faithless, Tricky, Sufjan Stevens, Citizen Cope, and Nona Hendryx. Original score material by composer Paul Haslinger (Tangerine Dream) is also included in the line-up. This original series is about a Muslim ex-con who's just been released from prison and finds his way to an Islamic extremist who recruits him to join a terrorist sleeper cell planning an attack in LA. The recent LA premiere set huge expectations following the likes of trend-setting series such as "24" and "Queer As Folk". Rhythm Bank. 2006.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy it! May 27, 2007
Format:Audio CD
Like the other reviewers say, this cd does not contain the theme song. What's the point of making a cd about a show and not have the theme song. There are probably only two songs worth anything on this cd. Don't waste your money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Where's the score? June 9, 2011
By higgins
Format:Audio CD
Sleeper Cell is largely scored by authentic sounding middle-eastern music... and the soundtrack delivers club beats, some soul stuff, light rap and slow pop songs? There's no theme and only track #3 has any resemblance to what I was expecting from this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another great Paul Haslinger November 21, 2007
Format:Audio CD
Well, Paul Haslinger's music is great. Always. The other songs selected are not bad. They're good. Some are very good. But to be honest: I remebered other songs from the series that I hoped would be on the CD. How about the title song??? That's what's really bothering me. That soundtracks often do not include title songs or end credit songs. Or songs from trailers. What about that great music from American Gangster's trailer? Is it on the CD? No. But all in all, Sleeper Cell's soundtrack is very good stuff. A mixture of world, alternative, Arabic and Western music styles. How about a second CD?

2.0 out of 5 stars Confused. April 14, 2007
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
To the reviewer before me... is the show's theme song, you claim is on here, really on here? I bought the cd for the show's theme and it's not even on the soundtrack.....
