"The Sleeping Car" is one of those movies you almost have to trip over to see. Who the hell ever heard of it? Well I have now seen it and it rocks. I was sold when a couch, yeah a couch, devours our first victim. I'm sure this film didn't cost much to make and it sure couldn't have made much but the filmaker had a wicked vision and he delivered.

"The Sleeping Car" is a well-made, fun little movie with a script that's a little too padded with one-liners (but still a lotta fun).

David Naughton (An American Werewolf in London) rents a train car for a college apartment(!). Of course; it contains a tortured past. His neighbor happens to be Kevin McCarthy (Invasion of the Body Snatchers) who is an occult specialist(!).

The special effects here are surprisingly well-done; and the movie moves at a nice pace. Add in an extended supporting role from Jeff Conway (Taxi) - and you're left with a solid flick.

The VHS contains a trailer for "Dark Side of the Moon" - which also looks to be a gem of a "B" movie I must have missed the first time around.

Worth the purchase!

I agree that this movie is awesome and who would have thought as cheesy as it sounds that it would be so good?? I love the older Italian horror movies and this one is right up there with them. I just wish they would bring alot of these older movies out on DVD.....this one and Deathship is at the top of my list for movies that need to be on DVD. Great movie!!
