She enlists the help of her cousin Kay, owner of an antique store, and two intrepid canines, Jack and Emily Ann, to follow the scant clues to find Bob. About the Author
Sharon Henegar was born in Kansas City, the third of five children. She grew up loving animals and books in equal measure, though she was never able to have as many of either as she would have liked.
Married to a professional storyteller who maintains that people who lie for a living have to leave town every so often, Henegar has lived in twenty houses in six states during almost forty years of marriage. She currently resides in Southern California and Salem, Oregon with her husband Steven; mixed breed dogs Lizzie and Edward; and cats Noll Baxter and Mrs. Wilberforce.
When she s not writing the sequels to Sleeping Dogs Lie or coordinating children s services for a large public library system, she can be found swimming in her pool as she listens to audio books on a waterproof player, or making the rounds of garage sales in her green convertible.
