Kiss Me Hello
Proving there's room for more than one Mr. Knightley in literature's pantheon of commonsensical-but-romantic heroes, Grace Burrowes uses her remarkable storytelling abilities in this, the third novel of The Sweetest Kisses series See what else the author has to offer

Book Description

Home for the Christmas holidays, former NFL football star Tanner Donovan never expected to discover the woman who had jilted him for his best friend. Nor did he expect that after eleven years Amanda Lassiter could still make him feel like a besotted teenager. Now she's free, and he's always the talk of the small Southern town that elevates football to a religion. What's a man to do but put on a good show and hope he walks away unscathed?

When Amanda moved back home to Greenville, she hadn't counted on seeing Tanner again, and she certainly hadn't bargained for old feelings to resurface. The only way to get through the holidays is to play his game and hope she can last the full four quarters.

But when the game turns real, can Tanner and Amanda forgive each other the past? Can they trust each other enough to grab their second chance at love?

This 5-book romantic comedy series was originally published by Loveswept - Donovan's Angel (1), Sleepless Nights (2), Hallie's Destiny (3), Any Thursday (4), and Higher Than Eagles (5).

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE THIS BOOK!! February 2, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Tanner Donovan is a wonderful hero, and I really enjoyed this funny, tender, poignant book! It was fun to meet Mrs. Donovan and Hallie, who will star in the next book. I also loved seeing what had happened to Paul and Marte since the first book. One of the funniest scenes in Sleepless Nights involved their children. You're going to LOVE this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Glimpse into the Donovan Family December 16, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
In this second book of the series, the author takes us to the Mississippi Delta and into the big, generous heart of the Donovan family. Tanner, a former football hero, is charming and irrepresible in his pursuit of the woman he lost to his best friend. There are lots of belly laughs in this book, but there's a serious side, too. I love the way the author handles the resolution, and I think you will, too. Highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars I couldn't finish this book. May 10, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Scenerio: girl returns home and runs into the guy she "betrayed" years before. He hates her and lets her know. Why then did every time he got near her he made sexual overtones - even while they were singing in the choir! At that point I
deleted it from my Kindle and went on to better things.

It's good to see what the other characters you have met are doing with their lives. The area of the delta of the Mississippi is an interesting place to read about.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sleepless nights January 31, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
It was another good story by Peggy Webb. It was definitely R rated so I could not give a 5 star. The characters were portrayed as enemies at first although I didn't see where an 11 year absence should have called for it. I liked the ending when Amanda and her ex-husband were ok; the way it should be.

WAY too much sex. If that's your kind of thing, it is a fun little book and has a decent redemption story line. If it's not, like it isn't for me, look elsewhere. Read more
