Same problem everyone else has with controller - piece of junk., April 22, 2007
We had the unit for two months before one of the controllers started giving an E 4 error message. Keep you documentation including receipt and warranty. West Point has a web-site designed to avoid customer interaction. The only way you will find out where to send the broken controller is on the warranty form.

ACOFFEY, October 8, 2007
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN... YOUR PRODUCT SUCKS. I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS GIVEN THE CHOICE. THIS $95.00 BLANKET LASTED ABOUT AS LONG AS IT TOOK TO TAKE IT OUT OF THE PACKAGE IT WAS WRAPPED IN. I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND THIS "HEATING BLANKET POSER" EVEN IF IT WAS FREE. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND SHIPING COST TO ME! IF ANYONE OUT THERE WOULD LIKE TO TRY MY BROKEN BLANKET JUST SEND ME AN EMAIL, I WILL SAVE YOU $90 BUCKS. respectfully yours -ACOFFEY

Beautiful Blanket But Not Enough Heat, December 17, 2006
My trusty electric blanket finally wore out, and so I purchased this Sleepwarmer. My bedroom often drops to 63 degrees at night and my old blanket kept me perfectly warm at a heat setting half way up its dial.
I find that with the new sleepwarmer I have to turn the dial all the way up to high and I am still not warm enough. It's a very nice blanket, but that's not enough. The instructions say that no part of the blanket my be tucked in, whereas with my old blanket it was permissible to tuck in the edges.
The Sleepwarmer has a special "warm up setting" which rapidly heats the blanket to a temperature that is one setting higher than you want. This is useful to heat the blanket just before you hop in bed, but if you wake up cold in the middle of the night this special setting is useless as it super heats the blanket for one hour before it turns its thermostat down to where you've set it. Why one hour? Who knows.
In summary I have to toss this brand new, expensive blanket because it simply doesn't provide enough heat even at its top setting to keep me warn in a 63 or 64 degree room. Now if your room doesn't get this cold you might give it a try, but I find that even at 67 degrees I have to turn it way way up.
