I was looking for a good sleeping/nap time CD for my 1 year old daughter. Actually her sister (she is 3 years old) loves this CD and called "Quiet time" music. So, now we can sit down and relax together with this CD!
Not for driving--coz make you sleepy!!

I listened to the samples before ordering this CD, so I was shocked when it arrived! NONE of the songs listed are included on the actual CD. Donald Crockett, Johannes Brahms, Gabriel Faure, Mozart, etc., are NOT on the CD; instead it is a collection of electronically simulated instruments. "All arrangements and original songs by Gregg Kennard". The first "Brahms Lullaby" seems to be a mediocre electronic keyboard on the "trumpet" setting...not exactly sleep-inducing!
The only resemblance between the CD I received and the Amazon webpage is the cover art. The actual CD is something else entirely, and definitely not worth even the low price!!!

I received the Sleepy Baby CD as a shower gift from a friend for our first child 2 1/2 years ago. We played the CD every night since she was an infant while rocking her to sleep and it worked LIKE A DREAM. It'll even put the parent to sleep!! We used the CD until she was about 20 months old. There's no need to try other music out there...this is by far the best. We're expecting our second child in March and have ordered another copy. (The first one was used so much it now skips on a couple of the tracks.) I hope soon to try the other titles in this series since I've been so happy with this one.

I play this CD every evening as I am rocking my son to sleep. By the time the third song is over he is usually fast asleep. The music is pleasant to listen to and I enjoy it as well.

We love this CD for our 12 week old. She has trouble sleeping well and this CD is perfect for soothing her as part of her sleep routine. The music is gentle and the melodies are clear. The volume is consistent, which is really important - it never startles her. There are also very short gaps between songs so there is no distracting silence. Lovely!

This is the best bedtime cd. The music is so calming that I often fall asleep to it. It plays for over an hour which is plenty of time for the kids to fall asleep.

This is a great one for naptime and nighttime. My 17 month old listens to it for both, and it's not that bad for Mommy to listen to either.

This is a good disc all around. The music is "purer" classical (vs. the reworked Einstein lullaby discs - that are a little too "kiddie" for me - the mother!

Love this CD! My 32 month old son has listened to it every night since he was 5 months old. I just bought two more because the original is scratched beyond repair since we used it so much. I agree about using it in the car though--it will make parents sleepy too--so it's best for at home! Very soothing music, no sudden sounds or volume changes. You can't go wrong.

The music put the grandchild to sleep in the crib. It calmed my stressed toy poodle; her heart rate actually slowed as she fell asleep on my lap. And, I was amazed how relaxed it made me feel as well. Really, don't drive with this one!! Do use it yourself otherwise!!
