This picture book is a great (possibly true or fictional I don't know) tale of a small boy who became terrified of Santa Claus after his mother forced him to sit on a shopping centre Santa's lap. The shopping centre certainly isn't into spending a lot of money on their Santa attraction with their Santa looking creepy, dropping dandruff and bad breath. The narrator just wants his experience with the creepy man who believes to be Santa to be over, which he thinks he's survived until Santa utters the words, "I'll See You Christmas Eve!" The narrator then goes on to point out the obvious things in the legend of and Christmas Eve operational facts that should be making parents and everyone concerned. Such is anyone else concerned he climbs through windows, doggy doors and chimneys at night, why doesn't he do it in the day?
This is definitely a fun read, it's simply illustrated but those illustrations complement the story well. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Depending on where their Christmas courier belief pattern is at of course to if you show them this yet, but kids love it too.
