The Ronettes were a 1950s-1960s pop group from New York City. An all-girl group, they were very successful, and I put them in the top three girl groups of the 1950s-1960s (with The Shirelles and The Supremes). The Ronettes' version of "Sleigh Ride" is my favorite rendition of this classic Christmas song, with lead singer Ronnie Spector's unique voice and a rousing, toe-tapping sound.

I really liked this song. I don't remember where I first heard it, but glad I found it on amazon mp3. I don't like buying songs off itunes because of the copyright hassle.
