I highly recommend this uplifting and courageous story of a family who look adversity in the face, conquer it and move on.
Their journey takes them from New Zealand(Aotearoa)to Italy and on to create their island of paradise in Nicaragua.
Dreams can come true, with a little imagination and thinking outside of the box.
The Thomas family have proven this.

As I researched this author and Little Eden Cay, I was greatly surprised to find this glimpse into the life of such a unique family. I found myself intrigued with the similarities with my own family but also educated by some of the ideologies of life that Martin shares with his readers. He is truly a visionary family man and has established a place in my personal encyclopedia of role models for the future. This book is a fast, easy read. It is indulging tale and as many of the other reviews detail - inspirational and admirable.

I am the kind of person who doesn't really like to read so much but this is one book I can say I thoroughly enjoyed. It seems that this family has a habit of putting their faith to the test, and getting wonderful results. The authors ability to convey their experiences and situations from multiple angles, gives the whole adventure a rich and colorful backdrop, which they managed to create for themselves.

This one's a keeper. It's uplifting, entertaining and motivating. The Thomas family will take you on a life journey like no other; one that will inspire you to believe that even your wildest dreams can be achieved.

My wife and I read this book out loud to each other a few weeks ago and we still cannot stop talking or thinking about it. It's written with a very personal style. By the end of the book we felt like we knew the entire family.

Rarely does a book really inspire me or change the way I think, but this one has my wife and I reeling about the adventures we will take when we have a family. This was a fun and inspiring read about an amazing family and their adventures!

What a find! This remarkable story is one that you won't be able to put down. Following this unusual family in their travels and experiencing through their eyes will inspire you to dust off your own dreams and realize that anything is indeed possible. At the very least you will be thoroughly engrossed and entertained.
