Very cheaply constructed.

I make homemade bread and this slicer actually cuts even thin slices without tearing it up.

It doesn't have a strong motor so slicing is a bit on the slow side.

This slicer operates slowly. You can't cut smoked brisket very fast, it's a slow process. It slices stick balona, turkey, and ham lunch meats okay. It takes a little practice to get the slices to come out even, as you must work slowly. It does the job, but could use more speed and power than what it has. Overall, it does do the job, but it is slow.

To save money and get higher quality sliced 'deli' meats I picked up this slicer. It works well but the motor is a bit on the weak side, so take your time and don't try to force the food you're slicing, instead take your time and let the slicer accept the material at its own pace. It cleans up fairly easily, but as the instructions warn, be careful, the blade is very sharp. Suction cup like feet keep it nice and stable on the counter as it's used.

After searching for a meat slicer, I settled on this one. My first impression was, "WOW! This is really nice looking." That is where my positive feedback ends. It is a really nice looking product. Sadly, nice looking isn't enough. I tried it and the first thing I noticed was that pieces of food kept getting stuck behind the blade. I read the instruction book and made sure everything was positioned properly. I tried again and kept having the same problem. I returned it the same day that it arrived. I was very disappointed in this product.

I guess it's true that you get what you pay for. This is a lower end home slicer, thus a cheaper cost than most. It does what it's supposed to do - slice. It doesn't have a strong motor so slicing is a bit on the slow side. If you're not in a hurry or impatient then you'll get your food sliced. Blade comes off easily and it's easy to clean. If you want to save a few $$ and don't need any heavy duty slicing, then this may be your ticket. If you're expecting fast easy precision with heavy loads, this is not what you want. Look elsewhere.

I make homemade bread and this slicer actually cuts even thin slices without tearing it up. It arrived on time but the box was damaged in shipment. However, it did not affect the performance. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Very cheaply constructed. The guide doesn't attach to the slide so you risk cutting the plastic guide if you aren't careful. The thickness changes mid slicing if you but any pressure on the meat as you cut. And it continously clogs up with meat bits getting stuck behind the blade

This is a great slicer out of the box. After a small amount of usage, you find out how many little spaces within it can take in food and is pretty much not accessible to clean. After about 10 uses I noticed the belt that turns the blade was starting to slip and it was rubbing against the frame of the slicer. After it gets hot the belt was actually started melting. The plate behind the blade has three screws in it. These screws are pretty much the size of jewelry screws. I have been able to unscrew one of the screws but the other two will not budge. Too many issues that make this hard to clean to impossible to clean and maintenance on it is a nightmare. Again, bought this in February and used it to slice up food that I smoked. I used it about 10 times, and I cleaned this thing for about 30 minutes each time I used it. To use it further I need to buy some special tools in the hopes of opening it up and fixing the belt or it goes in the trash. This product would have to be a lot better for me to simply hate it.

This is the most worthless piece of equipment I have purchased. The blade is dull, it will not cut thru a piece of angus filet migion leaving the last 1/8" still attached. I make home made jerky and thought this would be the way to make the slices......WRONG. Do not buy...... a true piece of Chinese manufactured GARBAGE
