This review is from: Slider (Video Game)
Long before the days of online play with headsets and unlocking achievements, there existed little single-player games like Slider here. You take the role of a spit-ball hocking living ball of yellow fuzz, with sneakers. You're trapped on a plane of blue-colored tiles in the middle of nowhere. This plane is filled to the brim with blood-thirsty creatures and haunting spirits of those who long crossed over to the other side. You're also completely surrounded by darkness, so there's no stepping off the fearsome tiled world to a safe haven. But, with some work there lies a portal which leads to your salvation. The only way this portal is opened...is by Slider wiping off all the what I assume to be pink unicorn poo on his shoes, onto all the blue tiles. It's never explained as to why this act opens portals in this world, but sometimes a little mystery is a good thing. Walk on blue tiles turning them pink, while avoiding enemies but gathering items such as multicolored Teddy Bears and delicious hamburgers for points is just about all this game is. But it can help pass the time on your beastly Sega Game Gear like no bodies business. Highly recommended!
