Learn more about how God works
through strong-willed women!

More is what you’ll find here: more in-depth teaching in a workbook format, more questions that help you grasp the lessons each story offers, and more ways to embrace the grace and sovereignty of God. This companion workbook brings Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible even closer to home, taking you deeper into the stories of Sarah, Hagar, Rebekah, Leah, and Rachel–five strong-willed wives and mothers, greatly loved by God.

Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible Workbook
“If you’re reading Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible on your own, the workbook lets us sit side by side as I guide you through each chapter of these women’s lives. If you’re using the book and workbook in a small-group setting, think of me as an unseen sister cheering you on and helping you delve further into the biblical material. The goal here is personal growth, not pages full of ink, so take your time and savor the journey.”
–Liz Curtis Higgs

Great book. I have read her other books and this one is just as good. We
use it for a Bible study group.

4.0 out of 5 stars Used with a group of Women, January 24, 2012

This review is from: Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible Workbook: Flawed Women Loved by a Flawless God (Paperback)
When a group of women in our church approached me about a Bible study, we decided to read through Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible: Flawed Women Loved by a Flawless God. In order to go deeper, we ordered this workbook, which we used as a resource and the basis of our discussion. While the workbook "might" stand alone, I really only recommend it as an adjunct to the actual book, since it refers directly to the book.

We also watched the DVD Slightly Bad Girls, but it did not follow the formatting of the book or workbook. It really stands independent from the book and workbook.

We had some interesting discussions going through this study, and I really enjoyed being reminded that we don't have to be perfect to belong to God.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good study, November 12, 2011

This review is from: Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible Workbook: Flawed Women Loved by a Flawless God (Paperback)
This book is the third Liz Curtis Higgs "Bad Girl" book that my pastor has used for a study. In each of the chapters the author has a short contemporary story similar to the Bible story that is the focus of the chapter. This helps to put it in perspective of how the story could apply to us today. In this study I have found that the author brings up different insights that change the way I had always thought of the subject and makes me really think and imagine how life was in those days. This week we will be discussing the chapter about Leah and how she may have felt about being, I believe, in a loveless marriage and how she reacted to her situation.
