I called a few places, including SONY, to see if I could get the battery door replaced for my son's PSP. SONY suggested looking online and that I couldn't purchase this through them. Kind of ironic. Amazon was a great resource in the past for me and I'm so glad I did:)

Is the exact battery cover that it the PSP came with! It was suppose to be a 2 day shipment for PRIME members. It came 1.5 weeks later...Amazon isn't always on their game! Although, I would rather shop here than anywhere else.

I had gotten my psp 2000 from a game store for 20 bucks less than they normally sold them for because the WLAN switch was half broken and it was missing a batter door. The switch I could live with, because there was still enough of it on there to switch wireless mode on and off, but the lack of battery door was a problem. If you drop the psp by mistake and the battery pops out, it turns off, even when asleep. The door that these guys sent to me fit properly and now I'm not having any problems. they packaged it pretty well too.

Long story short, if you have a psp 2000 (and make sure its a 2000, from what I understand, it won't fit right if its another type) and you're missing your battery cover, this should do the trick.

I dropped my PSP a while ago and lost the battery door. Every time it took impact, the battery would fall out and the system would reset itself/I'd lose game progress/etc. I got this in the mail a few days ago (fast shipping, got here much earlier than expected) but finally put it on my psp today. Fits like a glove! Just make sure you have a PSP 2000 or this case won't fit the door. Definitely an awesome buy for a psp user.
