I love the concept of this accessory but just can't use it long enough for it to work. When I first received it, the power button was inconsistent. Sometimes it would charge and other times it wouldn't. Even if the accessory just finished a full charge, I still couldn't get a charge on my iphone. I returned for a replacement and the 2nd one worked perefectly...until the power button came right out so now there is no way to charge. The company that sold this through Amazon won't allow me to return it again since it's been 90 days from the original purchase date, and not 90 days from the replacement. Again, great concept but really need to work out the production bugs and the retailer's return policy leaves alot to be desired.

When using GPS apps on my iPhone, the battery drains very quickly (complete discharge in about 2-2.5 hours). This device works great and lasts at least as long - I recorded a 2 hour GPS track and this device was still supplying power - my iPhone's charge was still at 100%!

As another side benefit, if one uses this device to recharge one's iPhone from a laptop, one no longer needs to worry about unintentional syncs - the phone only charges and does not sync when connected through this device. I'm really enjoying this!

Bought this product as a gift for my husband, who needed to increase his battery life while using a GPS app for the golf course. He loves it- can play 18 holes without tapping into the iphone's battery at all!

If I wanted to buy a hand heater I would have gotten it. This device supposedly was to charge the low mileage iphone.
The problem is that it generates so much heat that you are worried it will fry the phone. I already have enough problems
to worry about. Having my iphone crash would not be good.

This product has been worth every penny thus far. I am a Wi-Fi addict and this adds at least double the battery while surfing the internet.

The product could be slightly thinner in size, but its still a comfortable fit in my pocket.

Overall good item and a really great value for the money.

Dont know about you , but I cant get through a whole day on a single Iphone charge. I can leave my iphone plugged in over night and 1/2 way through the day it is very low. I didnt have this same problem with my old 3G but the 3Gs seems to use a lot mre battery power. This case gives the necessary power to make it through the day + lots more.

There is a cool feature that warns you when the battery case is getting low. It makes the phone vibrate every few minutes. This is a warning to charge the battery case or turn it off. At that point the phone itself has been charged anyway so just turn off the battery case.

The protective aspect is also good. It helps protect against the accidential drops and ti fits in your pocket real easily. I wish it had a top protective cover, but not sure how the phone would slide in and out if there was a cover over the top

I am very happy with this unit. It holds the iPhone snugly and in place. It will fully charge my iPhone from 20% to 100% in just about 1 hour, while I am on the phone and still have energy left. This means I don't miss calls while my phone is charging in my office and I am out in the shop.
The designers did a great job, they put cutouts so you can use the speaker phone, there is even a cutout for the camera lens.
Considering the price this unit is truly a best buy. I looked at a similar unit at a big box store for $90.
Needless to say I bought this one instead.
Two very minor nitpicks (and I do mean minor) You can see part of the orange interior when the phone is installed. The second issue is that there is a red LED that comes on when the unit is on, but it is only visible though the electrical connector on the bottom of the unit. Again two very small nitpicks which in no way decreases my use or enjoyment of the unit.
Accessory Genie did a great job of packaging and shipping in a very timely manner and I got the unit before I exected to. Great vendor.

While I don't use the battery pack on a daily, it's prven to be a good travel companion. On multiple 12 hour flights, I have been able to use my iPhone nonstop. When the battery runs low, I just pop the EnerG on and I am good.

I am happy with this product. I bought it for emergency usage, for example multi-day hikes, long international flights, etc. Tried it once and it worked as advertised. Is claims that the battery is 2400mAh but I only got one full charge to my iPhone 3GS out of it which has a battery of around 1500mAh, still not bad, as the form factor of this product is good. The 1 page document is printed in very tiny fonts, esp. the part that explains the 1 button on it and requires a magnifying glass to read.
