I don't think these bars are too chewy, like other reviwers said, but I don't particularly care for them. They definitely taste "diet" to me - kinda rubbery and the oats aren't crunchy. I'll finish the box because I don't want them to go to waste and they're edible, but I won't be getting them again. I'd get any one of the Special K Meal Bars instead. Much tastier!

This product is filling and makes a good breakfast or lunch on-the-go when there's no time to prepare or sit down to a regular meal. This method of purchase saves me money and saves trips to the store when I'm running low.

Don't understand the other reviewer's comments about these being overly chewy - I don't find them to be at all. A little crumbly, maybe! But, they are DELICIOUS. I was upset when my Chocolate Chip Granola went away but glad I picked up a box of these because they taste even better! I love having what feels like a candy bar for lunch - it satisfies my chocolate urge, with no guilt. This bar is not as satisfying to me as the Dutch Chocolate Breakfast & Lunch bars (though those are much smaller) - with having a Chewy Chocolate Crisp for lunch, I still come home a little hungry and wanting to snack before dinner - but that could just be the adjustment since I just started again the routine of eating these for lunch. I find Slimfast bars great for weight maintenance, and truly yummy. Do wish they were a little more affordable - though $1 a day isn't bad, I guess. (But the Breakfast & Lunch bars come 8 to a box for about the same price, versus these only having 5)

This is my favorite "flavor" of the slim fast meal bars. I was so glad that they were available to purchase on line because my local stores do not carry it. It is yummy and keeps me on track.

I really like these! I decided to try meal bars as I've only ever had the shakes and snack bars. These were so tasty! I'm definitely getting more!

This Slim Fast bar has a very good taste and is satifing. I east one for breakfast and one for lunch. There is a good amouont of fiber in the bars which helps with the "keeping me full" feeling. I would recomend to others people as a very good product.

For all those dieters out there, this or the Sweet and Salty bars is the way to go as far as Slim-Fast is concerned. I agree with the other reviewers that it does tast a little "diety," but it is by far the most filling of the Slim-Fast brand. When I eat one, I do not feel hungry again for hours! Go for it. 40 bars at this price is a great deal when compared with the in-store cost comparison. Totally worth it.

I have been eating one of these for breakfast and lunch for months. The taste is pretty good and I agree with other reviewers that they are very chewy, but it's not bad enough to be a deal breaker.

I didn't have any problems at first, but now if I eat them on a regular basis I get an irritating sore on my tongue. I'm not sure if it's because they are too salty or the rough "texture" of the bars. I've taken breaks from eating them but every time I try again this happens so now I'm looking for an alternative.

I'd say they are best for when you need a quick meal-on-the-go but not something to eat on a regular basis. They do fill me up for about 4 hours.

This one doesn't taste too bad, but its so chewy its over the top. Like trying to eat melted rubber kinda chewy.
