First off let me start off by saying I have always been overweight. I am 5'5 and always been around 175 lbs. I am supposed to be 125-130 lbs I have never been that weight. My biggest issue with dieting is that I LOVE CHOCOLATE AND SWEETS. Chocolate has always stood in the way of me and being thin.I knew about the slimfast diet for years but never took it seriously. Until recently that i got to the lowest point ever and i decided that i really need to lose weight because i started developing serious health issues. THIS IS AMAZING!! If you love chocolate this diet is for you!! I went from 171 lbs to 122 lbs in 7 months!!!! and have kept it off!! I have never been this happy, its an easy diet and best of all i eat chocolate every day!! These snack bars are heaven!! This one taste just like a snicker bar and the peanut butter crunch time taste just like a butterfinger bar!! I have never been this happy and swear by slimfast till the day I die!! I recommend it to everyone!! If you love chocolate this is what you have been looking for!!

Delicious, but of questionable nutritional value. You're better off with a piece of fruit, but if you absolutely crave chocolate and feel guilty if the wrapper says "Butterfinger" on it, here's a product for you...

I'm pretty familiar with the snack bars SlimFast has to offer. This one ranks in the top 25% of the ones I've tasted.

My only complaint is the size of the bar. They are so small and these days you can get a little more for 100 calories.

That's only 90 calories for a modest vanilla ice cream cone. Much more of a reward for those of us wanting to treat ourselves for having a good diet or healthy workout.

I've gotten away from SlimFast due to the fact most of their products just aren't worth the money. If you're in a hurry and don't have time to "figure" a low fat/calorie diet for yourself then they come in real handy.

I evaluated these together with the Nutty Chocolate Chew. They don't taste like diet food, at least to this reviewer who has tried every diet food under the sun while losing 100 pounds over the last year. The tastes are well balanced and not bitter. These are almost as good as a snickers bar.

However, that's where the problem comes in. There is very little difference between this and a fun size snickers bar in terms of calories, portion size, and how much it helps satisfy your cravings. So, why not just eat a fun size snickers bar?

I enjoyed having these around the house for a while, but they just don't distinguish themselves enough for me to put them on my shopping list, especially at this price point.

Mom said I was getting a pot belly. That hurt. Halloween was over and I needed to lose some weight before I drove home to visit relatives for Thanksgiving. The Amazon Vine Program had just sent me a couple of boxes from the new line of Slim-Fast 100 Calorie Snack Bars. I decided to incorporate them as part of a Slim-Fast diet. My goal was to lose five to ten pounds in exactly two weeks.

The Chocolate Nougat Gone Nuts Snack Bar is scrumptiously delicious; it reminds me of a Snickers candy bar. The problem with these bars, and other Slim-Fast products, is that because they are so very delicious it is difficult to stop eating at just one. The dieter is tempted to eat one more. After all, they're only 100 calories. As with any diet, one must exercise self-control. Also, the key is to eat small meals that are equally spaced throughout the day. The bars taste wonderful but the big question is: Do they actually help the consumer lose weight?

On Monday, November 2, 2009, I weighed myself at 180.75 pounds. I bought Slim-Fast 180 Calorie shakes, small eight-ounce cans of fruit, and yogurt to supplement my diet. Every morning, I'd eat a Slim-Fast 100 calorie Snack Bar (sometimes it was Chocolate Nougat Gone Nuts and sometimes it was one of the other delicious flavors) and a cup of coffee with creamer. A few hours later, I'd eat a cup of yogurt or a small can of fruit. For lunch, I'd eat a small salad or drink a Slim-Fast shake. Dinner varied, depending upon my social calendar. I'm an active person with a lot of friends. If I wasn't eating at a restaurant, I'd be at home eating a salad, a bowl of low-salt soup, or a bowl of high-fiber cereal.

Two weeks later, on Monday, November 16, I weighed 171.25 pounds. I've lost 9.5 pounds and I feel healthier and happier. I'm planning to continue dieting. Thanks to Slim-Fast, I'm going to have a new body just in time for the Holidays. Mom won't be able to accuse me of having a pot belly.

Like most people, I associate weight management food with having a cardboard taste. However, I was pleasantly surprised with Slim Fast's latest snack project. Not only did it taste great and satisfy my chocolate sweet tooth, but it was also able to fill me up in between meals -- without all of the calories I would normally waste. I honestly want to thank Slim Fast for getting me off my Snickers kick!

The SLIMFAST 100 CALORIE, CHOCOLATE NOUGAT GONE NUTS SNACK BARS actually taste much better than expected. If your goal is to satisfy your chocolate craving, then these little bars actually do take the edge off. They are chocolaty, peanutty, and sweet, with a little caramel thrown it.

My issues with the SLIMFAST 100 CALORIE, CHOCOLATE NOUGAT GONE NUTS SNACK BARS come from the actual nutritional value. While tasty, these bars have a lot of fat, almost no protein, and a heck of a lot of carbs. So that they come in at 100 calories per bar, they are very small. And at 6 small bars to a box, they are a fairly pricey.

Would I get the SLIMFAST 100 CALORIE, CHOCOLATE NOUGAT GONE NUTS SNACK BARS again? Probably not. Oh, I will finish the box, but for the same taste, nutritional value, and a much cheaper cost, a miniature-sized candy bar will do the trick.

I didn't know what to think of these "little" slim fast bars when I opened the box. I wondered how many it would take to satisfy? Turns out that one does the trick with a glass of water...and about 15 minutes...and a little will power.

The taste of these 100 calorie snacks is great as well. The chocolate nougat gone nuts featured here is my favorite and doubles as a great snack for the kids. The difference between these and those other "100 calories" snacks out there is huge. The price is good if you buy the 8-pack - about 60 cents each.

These bars taste just like a Snickers (a chocolate covered nougat bar full of actual peanuts and caramel), which is a good thing, but they aren't particularly healthy, which is a bad thing. They are VERY small- just a little bigger than the size of one of my fingers. I was expecting them to be more like the size of a regular candy bar or granola bar.

100 Calories, 5 grams of fat, and only one gram of fiber... plus not the most wholesome of ingredients. If you crave the taste of a real candy bar, this may do the trick for you. But I can't imagining something like this replacing even the smallest of meals.

Short and "sweet" - the SlimFast Chocolate Nougat Gone Nuts snack bar tastes like a Baby Ruth. [At least that is what I it tasted like to me]. When I say it tasted like a Baby Ruth I mean it really tasted like a Baby Ruth. Now for the bad news - 2 Baby Ruth Minis (22.5 grams) has 100 calories (40 from fat). Now for the shocker - 1 SlimFast Chocolate Nougat Gone Nuts bar (22 grams) has 100 calories (45 from fat). What the hell! How is this bar a "lose weight now" bar? The only difference on the Nutrition Facts is that the SlimFast bar has 1 gram of dietary fiber and the Baby Ruth has none. So is this how one would lose weight now - through quicker bowels? Go check it for yourself. I think I would rather buy an inexpensive Baby Ruth (on sale after Halloween) than spend a whole lot more for a "diet bar." Because of the cost factor and no obvious benefits I give it 2 stars.
