This is the second Slim Fast bar item I have tried and I'm completely sold on the whole line now! This item was fantastic. It was very much a cookies and cream flavored bar. It was just the perfect amount of chewyness (I don't think that is a word) and was packed with flavor. This would be a perfect 100 calorie snack for anyone. Even my kids loved it and they don't typically like any of the healthy snacks geared towards adults. I highly recommend this product!

If you are looking for a snack that staves off hunger for more than an hour, this isn't the snack for you. If you are looking for a low calorie snack for fulfilling that sweet tooth, then this is what you are looking for. The flavor, "Chocolatey Vanilla Blitz" isn't a flavor I would normally choose, but it is extremely tasty. The size of the bar is typical for only 100 calories - 3 bites and its gone. As for the nutrition fact, this bar contains 6 grams of sugar and 2 grams of saturated fat (I think this explains why makes it so tasty) and 2.5 grams of fat. It has 0 trans fat and 70 grams of sodium. For a "diet" item, the taste can't be beat, but I think the sugar content is a little high.
Compared to say a south beach diet bar (s'mores fiber fit granola bar), which has 4 grams of fat, 7 grams of sugar and 110 calories. I think the slimfast is a better bar as far as calories and fat.

These bars are too sweet! If you have a sweet tooth you will love them! Too sweet for me. I didn't really think they tasted like vanilla either. More like sweet creme filling or something. They don't taste bad at all, but I just don't eat alot of sweets in general. They are small bars though and I didn't find them to be filling at all.

I've really enjoyed these little treats, and would have given them 5 stars, except the chocolate flavor tastes synthetic. Similar to Slim Fast shakes, there's this odd note of a slightly chemical aftertaste. It's not bad, it's just not chocolate!

Besides that, the flavor is of vanilla nougat, chocolate and a bit of nuttiness, overall satisfying, nice and chewy so it lasts awhile.

These bars taste OK but is nothing special, I couldn't even taste the chocolate over the vanilla flavor. They are chewy but lacking in fiber so they definitely don't fill you up. I think I would prefer a small candy bar to this, it would taste better and would be about as filling. This would be good if they at least were high in fiber so that I wouldn't be hungry in a half hour. The flavor of this is a bit too artificial tasting for me.

I liked the flavor and texture of this bar. The bar itself is slightly chocolaty, and has a vanilla cream coating on the bottom. Overall, there's more of a vanilla flavor than chocolate.

It's definitely only a snack bar. At 100 calories, it's a small bar.

If you're on the Slim Fast 3-2-1 plan, or some other diet plan where you need a small sweet snack, this is a good option.

These bars taste good although they are really sweet but they are small in size and don't do anything to satisfy your hunger. Also the nutrional value isn't really that great. About 10% of a daily recommended vitamins. Better than somethings I suppose. Still, I find handful of nuts and dried fruit much more satisfying.

I tend to be a fan of Slim Fast products so was disapointed with these snack bars. They are adequate but certainly nothing special. They are only 100 calories which is great but they are very small and the taste is just average. They actually taste manufactured like candy - slightly sweet. The fancy title CHOCOLATEY VANILLA BLITZ has nothing to do with the real taste. They taste like subpar rice krispee treats. And if you are following the Slim Fast program as I do they suggest 3 snacks, 2 slimfast meal bars or shakes and a sensible meal. If I used these bars as my snack they would only make me crave something that tasted better. Also, they are low in fiber and protein so they don't really fill you up.

The price also seems very high to me for what you get. I love the slim fast shakes and powder mixes but I think there are much better snack alternatives than these bars. Come on Slim Fast, you can do better.

These taste *just* like Rice Krispie Treats, except there's a weird chemical aftertaste that lingers. I guess for 100 calories, it's not so bad, but these snack bars are VERY tiny (very narrow and about as long as a typical granola bar) and there's a *lot* of strange-sounding chemicals in the ingredients plus some not-so-wholesome things (palm kernel oil "Vanilla Yogurt"-flavored topping, anyone?).

I guess if you are pushed for time, and need something that's portion-controlled and ready-to-eat, this would be good. But for the calories, nutrition level, and cost, I'd just make a batch of Rice Krispie treats (there's actually a whole grain Rice Krispie cereal on the market now and you can use a healthy olive-oil based margarine), cut them into tiny squares, pre-package them and have those instead.

First of all, I signed in to rave about the entire 1-2-3 selection. It is ALL GOOD!

Second of all, yes the bars are small, but if you are committed to a diet, then don't complain about it. AND the serving sizes most of us are programmed to expect are not FDA approved servings (King size Snickers Bar). If we had bars like that, the diet wouldn't work, would it?

Thirdly, these taste like a rice krispy, dunked in chocolate, covered with white chocolate kisses... what is so bad about that? You may want a second serving... LOL

This program is designed to give you good tasting snacks every 3 hrs, (or however you can split up 6 snacks in a day).

If you are reading this for a taste recommendation, it's more than ***** it's ten*s!
If you are reading this to see if this diet is for you, then you need to consider what I just said, and read up on it on Slimfast website. I personally think it would work for any person who wants to lose 20 or less pounds. If you need to lose more, you may struggle a bit.
