I live in a area with a lot of thorny brush. While clearing out a section of woods my original wheelbarrow tire went flat due to a thorn puncturing the tire. Replaced it with the "slime tube" and so far, so good. Easy to install and it has held the pressure just fine. Not sure if the "slime" has prevented any leaks but I'm glad it's there.

When your wheelbarrow tire wears out be sure and replace the tube at the same time. I suspect that these tubes will outlast the tire unless you run over nails a lot. I don't so my tire sidewalls always go first due to the wheelbarrow weight load, weather and sun damage. Regardless, I always replace tires and tubes together as a set.

It was a trial of frustration to find a small wheelbarrow inner tube locally when my 40+ year old tire went flat. This did the job perfectly and has withstood a ton of abuse, even poorly protected as it is by an old cracked tire. Have not 'tested' the slime sealant intentionally or otherwise, but it's nice to know it's there.
*Most difficult aspect of this fix is getting the old tire off the rim and back again with new tube. I've done vehicle tires manually that were less difficult, this is due to a wheel barrow tire's small size. It may be simply easier to get a whole new wheel assembly, depending on your wheels configuration.

I bought two of these tubes for my yard trailer I pull around the property with my Lawn Tractor. I pulled the tires off the rimes, wire brushed them clean. Duct taped the inside of the rims and sliced holes for the valves to pop through. I poped one side of the bead over the rime, then sprayed the inside of the rim with silicone spray so the tube sides in nicely and will move around to seat itself upon filling with air. I carefully inserted the tube and valve etc then very delicatly popped the other bead of the tire on and then filled with air. I bought one for each tire for a total of about $20 for the two. Much cheaper than buying new tires or solid tires. THEY WORK GREAT !!!! :-)

I was sad to see my trusty barrow with a flat. Knowing that I was ordering 5 cubic yards of compost in early spring, I needed to fix my tire.
With a couple of tools and a YouTube tutorial (thankful for YouTube) I got this done in about 30 minutes. Took a little wrestling,but not bad considering it was my first time. Pumped it up and in 3 days, it took the leverage and the weight of all that compost.
No flat yet...but, I'm confident this hold well. It was cheaper than the hardware store as well.
