I got this portable inflator because of the way it connects when inflating. This connection type screws onto the tire valve instead of the more popular clamp down type. I have one tire that when trying to inflate using the clamp down type, the connection gets loose and the tire doesn't inflate without holding the connection down. So, if you have a similar problem and want an inexpensive solution, the Slime Top-Off Inflator should do the trick.
I had a chance to use this inflator to top-off my car tires today. To use, I just plug the cigarette lighter plug in the cigarette DC socket of my car, connect the hose, slide the green button to on, then the tire inflates. All I needed was a top-off of about 1 or 2 psi in each tire and the inflator handled it fine. The instructions say do not hold the inflator as it can get hot. I held onto it anyway (because the inflator hose is rather short). I felt the inflator and it didn't feel hot to the touch. Now, had I inflated from a totally flat tire, that very well might have been different.
What I like:
- screw on connection (this connection type, instead of clamp-on resolved my issue of air leaking while inflating)
- very portable, stores away with included plastic case
- cigarette adapter cord long enough to reach all four tires of my car
- the price (only about $10)
What I dislike:
- inflation hose could be longer (it's only about 3 inches long). I guess they made it so short so it could store away easily
- the built-in tire guage is inaccurate. It was about 3 psi higher. However, I didn't rely on this much as I have my own tire gauge. Moroso 89560 Tire Pressure Gauge, Dial Type, 0-60 psi
Missing Feature:
- I wished it had auto-shut off at a set psi feature. That would make the inflator very convenient to use. But I'm sure that would add to the cost which is almost nothing presently
Overall, this inflator is well worth the price. It does the job of topping off tires and takes up little space. If you don't have an inflator, this is great for topping off and is a nice addition to a car emergency kit.

Gets overheated before the work is done. Disassembled and lubricated after the first time. On the second time the gear was damaged. Junk.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Take about a min to top-off a bike or a car. Works well, does the job. The pressure sensor updates only every 30 sec, not continuously. I don't know whether I have a defective item, or it supposed to work such way.
The size is impressive - it's really small. It is possible to put it back into the case after usage. I mean the case is not too small.

useless gauge
Gauge shows whatever random numbers +- 4 psi when you connect/disconnect. It looks like cheap junk, I'm going to return it.

Good for emergency, not for regular use
I had this one for about a year. The inflator takes more time (approx 5minute) to inflate tire. The 'inflator' works as expected, but the reading in the meter is completely off. Read more
