This keyboard has a lot of potential, but it has a fatal flaw. It would work just fine for a while, then it would go into a mode somewhere between caps-lock and normal, where the wrong keystroke is sent to the computer. Toggling back and forth between caps-lock and the regular setting would not get the keyboard out of this state and the only solution I found was to reboot the computer. My guess is this has to do with a bad software driver, but I was using the most up-to-date driver downloaded from Adesso's website. After trying to use the keyboard for about a week, I finally unplugged it and went back to my old keyboard.
The keystokes feel pretty good. I was disappointed with the buttons below the touchpad that act as left or right mouse buttons because they make a very loud click and require too much pressure. If the flaw the prevents the keyboard from functioning correctly were corrected, then I could increase my rating from 1 star to 4 stars, but in its current state, the keyboard is unusable.

I needed a keyboard to use with a laptop that I use on a table top frequently - but I prefer to type below the desk level thus the need for a keyboard with a built in mouse/touchpad. The major issues I had were the number keys are offset about 1/4" to the right making this extremely uncomfortable for a touch typist. I don't understand why they did this as the keyboard is full size. The second issue that I could not live with is the inability to turn off the tapping feature of the touchpad. I read on Adesso's site that there was a driver that could be downloaded for a touchpad/keyboard (not sure if it was for this Adesso keyboard), but that you'd have to uninstall your laptops touchpad - this was out of the question for me as I use the laptop also as a laptop when not on the desk. The keyboard itself seems well built, but the above two issues made in completely awful for me.

I purchase this keyboard for my Parents new desktop, Acer AZ5761-UR20P 23-Inch All-in-One Desktop Computer (Silver), that comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse.Key Features: Right Side Touchpad and Corded USB I need a corded keyboard so my parents don't have to deal with battery changes and low battery issues inevitable with wireless keyboard/mouse combos. In addition I needed a keyboard with Touchpad because they find the touchpad in their laptop easier to use than a mouse. This keyboard has the touchpad in the right hand side, which is perfect for the desktop use. Having the touchpad in the right side avoids issues of unintended cursor movement when typing, an issue that you get in the laptops because of the touchpad position. This is a full size keyboard that looks and feels great for the touch typist. In addition it has a number of additional smart keys and usb ports that make it even a better proposition. Have been using it for the past two weeks while teaching them how to use the new desktop and could not be happier Before getting this one I got the Smart Touch Mini USB TouchPad Keyboard but the mini is 60% size keyboard that makes it unusable for a desktop application, I have found that keyboard smaller than 80% full size are just not usable for touch typing.
