I started out playing Slingo through AOL, which was difficult because I had to remain connected to the net. Now that I have the CD version, my whole family can enjoy hours of fun. This CD is even better than the internet version because you have many more choices and options on how you want to play! Many different backgrounds and sound to choose from. This is one you will be sure to love!

I DO NOT recommend this cd-rom if you are purchasing this to play Slingo on-line. Microsoft Gaming Zone no longer carries it as described in the handbook. After contacting the companies, both Hasbro and Infogrames, I found that neither of them support it. Disc is okay of you want to play on your own computer, but you can't use it on-line like it advertises - at least not at present. I have searched everywhere and got many responses that will tell you it cannot be used on-line.

Won't work on Windows ME and if you call Hasbro tech they no longer support it and give you Q&A recordings. No human to talk with. Not recommended if you use Windows ME.

I own and have purchased hand held Slingos for my sisters who live out of state. They recently visited me and I couldn't get them away from my computer when they discovered my Slingo CD. I purchased a Slingo for each of them so they won't have withdrawal when they get home. My whole family competes...it's a great stress reliever and just plain fun. I recommend it for all ages.

I've been a fan of Slingo for years. First playing it on AOL, then buying the hand-held game (not as fun as either AOL's version or the PC version). Recently I bought the PC version and really enjoy the different games, so much so that I no longer play it on AOL. It's a fun, addictive, simple little game that everyone in my family from my 6 year old on up enjoy.

Slingo is an arcade game. It is pure chance but like going to Las Vegas and playing a slot machine but with more twists. My wife will speind an hour or so each computer session with it. You will keep coming back. No skill but pure entertainment. It is like Yathzee. For more skill games I recommend "Tetris" or the best "Breakthru".

I've been a Slingo fan for a long time, this version is wonderful. It has enough options to keep your interest for a very long time. I read another review that said it will not work with Windows ME. They were WRONG. I am running win 98 on my desktop & ME on my notebook. It works great on both. ME does have a problem with Direct X, you have to get version 8.1 for it to work properly. This can be downloaded from the Windows Download site. This other review also said the on-line features did not work. I have not tried to play thru the internet yet, but I have a wireless network in my home and following the TCP/IP directions we have no problem playing across the network. I have had NO PROBLEMS at all, this is a great game, that is worth every penny of it's price.

This was kinda strange how i ran accross this one, i had never heard of it before and i bought a bundle from my supplier (i am a seller) and there were 2 of these in the bundle so i listed them and they both sold the same day, i thought it was odd, so i purchased 5 more from my supplier and sold them in a matter of days and so on, well i had never played this game before so i decided to keep one for myself and played it, sure enough this game is extremly FUN and everyone is right addicting! In a very good way too! My family is now wanting to play this all the time!
So if you want to purchase one i would definatly recommend it!

This game is so fun. I play it so much, I need to get a new one some day.

This was recommened to me by Amazon so I thought I would try it. I thought it would be ok, but it is so much fun and very addicting! The variety of 5 games keeps it interesting. I've had it over the weekend and have filled up the top scores in all categories. A fun game!
